Hows the toe cushioning in the Kobe v's

I have my eye on a pair of Zoom Kobe V's but worry a little about the toe cushioning.  My toes hurt when playing in all my recent shoes (Jordan team 2010, Adizero 1.5 lows, APL concept 1's).  From what I have read the V's are either the best or almost as good as the best Kobe's ever made but they only have zoom air under the ball off the toes.  Do they still do a good job of cushioning the toes?   I guess it may not be the shoes causing pain, I may be getting old

Everyone seems to love the Vs but I don't like them at all. Everytime I ball in them they always hurt my feet and make me uncomfortable. But thats just my opinion.

They're well cushioned and does the job well. But, if you're having problems,
I suggest you go for foam cushioned shoes like the Fly wade 2, under armour
or well cushioned sneaks like melo m8 or the lebron 8.

But if you think you're all good, go grab the zk5. Probably the best $70 you'll ever spend.

I may pick up a pair just because the price is right and if they don't work I'll get something else.  So would the newest CP's be a better bet for impact protection?
