actually, they retroed in japan in '16. i found a pair on ebay earlier but the shape was super off, blocky toe instead of sleek: https://solecollector.com/news/2016/02/nike-air-huarache-international-white-black-red also found an og pair on a certain site in a size 10 (i'm a 9.5 )... maybe i'll pull the trigger if it's still up on a later date

I forgot they did do the OG color in Japan. I had just remembered the monochrome color ways. I now vaguely remember searching ebay back in the day for a pair of the OG retros. Gosh I hope they bring these back too.

Exactly. And while I hate the state of this game right now as much as anyone, it’s not like Huaraches, absolute worst case, command that much of a premium on resale. Not a lot of reasons for anyone to stress getting any of these releases.
