Exactly. And while I hate the state of this game right now as much as anyone, it’s not like Huaraches, absolute worst case, command that much of a premium on resale. Not a lot of reasons for anyone to stress getting any of these releases.

I had two pairs of the black/volt colorway. Nike was really pushing that free BS back then. Think I got them at an outlet. I enjoyed wearing them as a shoe I’d just throw on for whatever and wasn’t concerned about beating them up. But yeah, glad we FINALLY are getting proper retros.

I hated these with a passion back then. I literally would get mad when I walked into a store and seen these on shelves. They had a scream green version too. This was Nike at its worst.

I bought my son the scream green pair of the frees at an outlet for like $30, which he beat. I have the emerald pair. Actually pretty comfy. Of course I’d prefer the regular version, but I’ll take what I can get.
