You definitely should've spoken to the flight attendant. The dude just wanted to keep the arm room. Too late now though. Grab you some airborne and pray you're straight. It doesn't matter what he had coming up. No one wants to get sick, especially if it can be prevented.

IM SO MAD. I booked a red eye from LA to new jersey to see my daughter julia.....i have advanced cancer and i want to see her one last time.
I get to my seat 32A and im on the side. The guy next to me is wearing a tanktop and sunglasses and im thinking his eyes are sensitive. Turns out hes some kind of youtube celebrity or something. Hes checking his phone every 2 seconds and looking at me with disgust every time i cough. I feel bad, i know it sounds awful but the cancer has spread so much.
This guy then proceeds to look around for a different seat...going as far as to offer a gentleman a meal just to avoid sitting next to dying old me. He says he has "a shoot" to make and he cant risk getting sick. I hear the man say "get outta hear man no way"
I smiled with the little energy i have left.
I am SO ANGRY on my last flight.

If you were that man....would you have been kind enough to slap the **** out of that little *****?

You typed all that to get reps and laughs from your fellow NTers? damn. At least when I do something that corny for the internet I get paid for it. I ain't even mad. It sucks how you don't want better for yourself and would accept being next to someone with a flu on a plane who's coughing all over you. That's why you probably have an average life style with an average salary stressing over average problems. If you want better, you expect better and don't settle for less. Like being coughed on all flight by someone with a cold.

I've yet to have a bad flight experience, and I've flown Spirit on multiple occasions.

I remember coming back from Chicago. I got on the plane wasted. I'm tall so they put me by the emergency door by myself, gave me the speech about being responsible if something happens. The flight goes up, the light comes one and I think about it. I got all these seats and room to myself. I put the arm rest up, curl up across all three seats and go to sleep. Last thing I remember hearing before blacking out is, "He can do that?"

1. Re-arranged your seat via Airline's website or App prior to boarding.

2. Realize that the population of Los Angeles does not change if 1,700 people leave town for the wackest concert they have ever attended.
