i see your point. but that doesn't change the fact that this lame lies a lot. so that's why i hardly believe anything that is typed. even his videos are staged. i have compassion for people who are really suffering like the lady he is sitting next to. not some stuck up little princess who runs to the internet anytime he faces some kind of problem.

it isn't as easy as saying "just take a seat" .. questions will be asked, the dude would probably start an argument which fousey likely wants to avoid. he's just venting on here, let him.
also, some of ya'll act so tough on here but are probably the softest in real life. "just sit down and don't say anything" -- right. because that wouldn't raise questions from the two other people in that row. the flight attendant would likely tell him to return to his seat.

As far as OP story goes, shoulda pushed harder to get a different seat, should've explained why you want to move and reasoned with dude.. not offered to buy him a drink or food. I would've put on an oxygen mask myself and took a nap, b. Landed and found the nearest Emergen-C possible and you'd be straight. No need to go through a long flight upset for a seating arrangement.
You should save that oxygen mask for when youre done slurping op

Wow.
Ol boy that told him "no" does not own that seat, his opinion means absolutely nothing. 95% of the time I have my headphones on damn near full blast even before the flight has boarded so if I decide to move after it's clear we're done boarding I'm not going to even hear another dude trying to "question me" about why I'm moving into an open seat, we aren't talking 1st class here.
For the record I've flown hundreds of times across the country and overseas, not once have I asked someone "can I sit there?"... like, there's no reason to even open that door.
