Information Technology (IT)

I mean edge is included with Windows. And they tried to do the same. Why would Apple be different? Users can still download Chrome or Firefox on OS-X, iOS.

Google kind of controls the internet with their search engine. I don’t think Chrome is a monopoly though. Seems wacky.

They need to look into VMware 😂. Them prices post Broadcom purchase. With the cloud and their prices, they better be careful.

Right this does seem wacky . People use chrome like that? I only use it when Edge is acting up.

I normally use Firefox. Not to say I never use Chrome. I like it more than Edge. But in an Enterprise, Edge is probably the default.

We suspected data centers were creating an energy crisis for Virginia. Now it’s official.

Energy Crisis: Data centers in Virginia are causing a major surge in electricity demand, projected to rise 183% by 2040.

Infrastructure Strain: Significant investments in power generation (solar, wind, nuclear, natural gas) and transmission are required.

Cost to Consumers: Utility customers may face higher electricity bills due to these developments.

Environmental Concerns: Data centers are straining local resources and raising environmental impact concerns.

Duh. lol.

Mega Data Centers are a huge hog.

I remember being in the DoD and they were pushing for data center consolidation. But it wasn’t on the scale of these cloud providers. I can’t believe these jokers are in the DMV.

It’s just hype. I do like LLM but haven’t seen any other capability that demonstrates the same hype that fed bitcoin, NFTs, etc.

For NVIDIA…great for them because their chips work for everything lol.

I mean it was fairly obvious but they just took the money. How did the “experts” miss this part of it……..cause they didn’t. Just being exposed now.
