Is your city boring, activities and people wise

Looks like people that live in the DMV already showed up in the thread. I definitely agree tho. If you can't find something to do out here, you aren't looking hard enough. On my first day here, I was given free beer and wine in NoMA. It's been love ever since. Told my family that I'm never moving back.

I lived in KS all my life until 2.5 years ago after I moved to AZ. Def a huge change and for the better. I wasn't really an outdoors person until I moved here, I now love it. Hiking, fishing, 4 wheeling, riding a Polaris, going to the lake, going on first ever camping trip labor day weekend. But then that's not even the end of it. Im a big music head so, I like to go see shows. Got to see one of my fav artists a few weeks ago that I would've never been able to see in KS. Then Vegas and LA is about 4-5 hours away if you wanted to travel. AZ is such farcry from KS. That place is BORING...
I thought i was the only one here from the dub.

I'm in NYC. So nah. But the last two weeks I've been waiting on this fetti. So its been ****** boring as hell. Point being no money no honey.

No and yes. I say no because it's so much to do but yes because it's not for the "mature" crowd. If u trynna stay away from bomb *** strip clubs, slapping clubs, wild rap concerts and casino's then it's boring. I'm 27 with a family so we trynna keep the party life to a minimum and I've found it to be very boring.

I love in the valley in California. So pretty cool. Try new hole in the wall joints, comic book shops, we have LA, Santa Monica, beaches, hiking, LA, Hollywood, six flags. Tom of crap

Where do you live?

Not at all, I just moved to greenwood, seattle (few miles north of downtown) and am walking distance to many bars/restaurants and grocery stores. Not to mention greenlake is less than 2 miles away. Feel lucky to have gotten a decent priced condo in the current outrageous seattle housing market.

growing up I always heard people say yes, throughout the years growing up I never thought it was boring, depends on the people you know I guess. you can have fun doing whatever. I live in a beach city so you have to be aquatic. surfing, fishing, no good bars or clubs or lounges, beach bonfires are better though.

plus I got malibu next door, biking and hiking there is :nthat:
Well said. If you complain that your city is boring, then you as a person are probly squidward tentacles. Lived in Bakersfield for a hot min but found **** to do whenever I'd have free time.

Detroit.

Theres way more to do out here (Detroit) than the small town in AZ im from.
Outdoors, nightlife, sports, concerts and all that is dope.

Its all what you make of it tho. Mich as a whole is cool, but its winter is like 7 months...F!!! all that.

Speaking of things to do in the DMV, how is the Zoo in DC? Thinking of going for my daughter's first birthday.

We have a strong Zoo. Be prepared to walk. Lot of up hills (well depends on which way you come).

If you come in the Connecticut Ave side, there will be a downhill, but you have to walk back uphill to get back.

Take the metro

SD checking in. not boring here at all :pimp:

where the Chicago heads at? hit me with some info on places to go, things to see, restaurants to eat at etc... taking my girls there in a couple weeks for our anniversary

Go to supreme cuts in u district

Boston, MA

I think my city has a pretty good nightlife and things to do. The only major gripe about Boston is that all the bars have to close at 2am and the trains shut down at around 1am. I think the nightlife is good but it's not like NYC obviously. The main difference is you have to search for things to do in Boston while in NYC, there is so many things once you step outside.

People

I think the people here are good. Of course, you have the "M********" but the majority of the people who live in the Greater Boston area are actually transplants from other states because they come here for school. Everyone that I work with is not from Massachusetts. There's only a select few who are natives.

I'm a contractor and ended up in Mojave. It's a city in California in the ******* desert, I work at the airport. I live in a near bye desolate area called California city. It sucks, it's lattitude and longitude are on Pain & despair. Every day I try and lay there till work, work a 12hr day and go to sleep. It's like 106 everyday.

But on weekends I can hit LA and I fly to Seattle once a month or so. Vegas is 3hr drive.

im sorry to hear that bro, u might kno my brother

Am I the only one that lives in the middle of nowhere?

I live in a farm town/middle of nowhere New England on the CT/MA boarder

Its nice if you like that quiet life, but its really boring and there's nothing to do here

Closest major city to me is Boston or Providence which are both 1 hour away

Rural>>>>City

I want to move to the city for few years in my 20's/30's, but definitely retire somewhere peaceful and quiet

The dmv is cool...Langley park is lit Uni Blvd and New Hampshire ave always is a good time
