anyone into mobile development? i think it's getting bigger and bigger. the job boards are getting more filled with ads for iOS / Android development . . . C++, Java, etc.

I've never considered mobile development, but it is a booming business now.
Quick question: I'm currently going to school for my Associates in CIS and would like to get a job as a Help Desk Specialist. How would I go about doing this with no working experience in the field?

That basically just means you set aside your own money out of your check to pay for your healthcare (if you have/want it) and taxes. You still do have to pay taxes, they just aren't prededucted out of your paycheck.
What's your hourly rate? Your company must be taking a huge loss on you then if they are paying you that much and you don't have the skills to do very much.

this was in the beginning of the summer... now you're at 200k plus?
some people are believing you wholeheartedly. i idont want anyone to think that you're way is best b/c people can get into some serious trouble.
it just not plausible that someone would give that much money... to a guy sitting in a cubicle on NT... if a company was dealing like that, they wouldnt be a company long.

If you are getting out of the service, it is cake for you to get a Govt job with the Vets perference on USA Jobs and just network. Find your local base and you are golden.

Regardless my only issue with Slade is him telling young guys to skip school and other foolishness. I have personally seen guys fired because when they get rolled over from contract to perm they get caught up for lying or they don't have a degree.
If you want to work contract for the rest of your life then I guess you don't have to go to school.
