ITT: Everything Electro/Dubstep/House/Trance Music

Resident Advisor is a good site but the people that post on there are some of the biggest dbags on the Internet.
1001 tracklists is great, mixesDB is solid too.
Runderground, Future Sound, Electronic Fresh, Electro Buzz are good "sources" too

i never look at the posts on RA. just the articles, dj charts, podcasts, etc. so i hadnt noticed.

deep house that i've been playing for the last month or so. new tracks as well as slightly older ones that i first heard recently.

one of my favorites for a while now. been countin down til the 13th when it finally releases.

next 2 have a dark/wintry feel that i've been loving

pumping bass, sexy vocals

can't wait to throw the shades on and drive to this in the summer

and my bad if this is considered spamming, normally wouldn't post this many tracks at once but this threads been on life support for a minute

Thanks for posting, it has been on the low end for a while but I've been going onto the sites that people have been posting and I've mainly been listening to 1 or 2 hour long mixes from various DJs that they make weekly

this was recent

just some of my favs from last year, this will be like spam also

love new remixes of old songs ('99)

[I love house and techno] because it sounds boring to most people. Music taste often has little to do with what it actually sounds like, and more to do with how it reflects upon who we are.
This is exactly why i deleted vice off my news favorites and replaced it with bbc. Their series on hbo is dope but the hipsterism online is excessive.

I do agree that music does reflect who we are as people though, and to add to that, gives us something to identify with.

i see what youre saying, but i love vice. theyre not a traditional new source so you cant really compare them to bbc.
and yea that articles kinda snobbish i guess, but its all in fun and entertainment. and like i said i can totally relate to her about having to explain myself when someone asks me about my choice in music. dont take it too seriously.

It's not even the snobbery that bothered me. It's saying you like music because others find it boring, and music taste has nothing to do with what it sounds like. Lolwut. That's like the epitome of everything people don't like about hipsters :lol

And yeah I didn't want the conventional dystopian news source like a bbc, so I gave vice a shot but it didn't cut it for me. I'd love something similar that's done at the level of their hbo show though.

oh yea i totally agree with you on that part where she said it has nothing to do with what it sounds like lol
that part was silly. but im guessing she was just trying to make a point or sensationalize it or wutever.

im not particularly fond of minimal myself. i usually prefer banging techno.

but its ok man, you just have a more refined taste now thats all lol

grooving > raging

All I wanna say is that trap music has taken over my mind body and soul.  I just started listening to it off soundcloud a cpl months ago and that's damn near all I listen to now.  I honestly believe that is the future of hip hop, at least beats-wise

anyone going to output for disclosure?

i'm really hoping to be able to get tix at the door since i missed out on the advanced tix and their policy doesn't allow for tix copped off stubhub to be used (don't know how strictly they enforce it.)

anyone aware of what time to be there to try copping at the door?

levon vincent, dj qu, terrance parker, dj spider at output tonite!!!

stacked lineup. levon vincent is probably my favorite house producer.

im gonna see him in la later this month for the first time. soooo looking forward to it.

sooo good

^lmao saw that meme a while back

One of my closest rave friends is exactly like that. It's honestly harder to find girls who have a legit love for the music, too many treat it like their clothes and are just following trends.

Btw does anyone know of a site that's like an NT for dance music (and not just the super underground type?)

Like has sections for different music genres, but also a general and sports section that's interesting as well?

I tried looking through my usual websites and found no forum place for it like our General. I'm pretty sure there is though
