Good morning NT,

What a Wrestlemania, I have been a lifelong fan and I will admit there are times that I go on hiatus for months because I dont care about the product, but at rare beautiful times when WWE gets its right, it gets it RIGHT. That was a beautiful mania, Im gonna list off my top 10 moments.

1. Kofi winning was like the most satisfying win I have ever seen in my life, this match put to rest the atrocity that Booker had to go through with Triple H at that previous Mania. Xavier crying had me tearing up like a baby. The fact that they had the old shiny belt ready for him made the occasion feel special. Coming into 2019 none of us thought we would be seeing Kofi be WWE Champion on the biggest stage but man that was something special.
2. Seth Rollins win to kick off the show was beautifully done too, the image of him twirling the Univeersal belt at the top of the ramp was saisfying as hell. Goodbye for a looong time Lesnar.
3. The Iconics winning that tag team gold was another highlight, when Billie Kay got the pin and started balling I got a little teary eyed too.
4. I loved the whole Batista match, and for him to post that he is retiring on twitter was poetic. I like how after he bothced the ring entrance he went right back and did it again with a smile. Thanks Batista see you in Avengers: Endgme and Guardians 3
5. The spots in Smackdown tag team match were excellent, that match was done perfectly

Overall, this has maybe the most fun Ive had watching a WWE PPV in a loooooooooooong time. I dont really care about what happens tonight on Raw or going forward, THIS showed that WWE can actually listen to their audience and give us what we want, albeit you can tell these were not the plans they had heading into 2019 (ie Reign, Kingston) but they actually got it right just for one night.

Ronda Rousey reportedly suffered a broken hand in the WrestleMania 35 "Winner Takes All" main event with Charlotte Flair and new SmackDown Women's Champion and RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

There's no word yet on details of the injury but Meltzer noted that this was scheduled to be Rousey's last match with WWE for the time being as she's been expected to take time off.

There are a lot of rumors going around on the finish of the match but Meltzer noted that at one point Rousey was going to lose to Lynch by submission. A lot of people was for the submission but a lot of people were also for Rousey losing by pinfall. In the end, it was decided that a pinfall would be he best direction, not the submission.

The idea behind the pinfall was that Rousey has never submitted in a WWE match. She also never submitted in MMA or judo. There's no word yet on why the finish was switched to a pin, but lots of people internally fought against Rousey losing by submission. It was said to be a split, but people were fighting against the loss by submission. It was speculated that the idea of a wrestler submitting Rousey is a negative compared to a wrestler pinning her. It was also speculated that Vince McMahoncould be protecting Rousey for a potential return because then she would have an issue with a fluke pin.

Regarding the rumors on Rousey being upset at the referee botching the finish, Meltzer noted that those are not true. Meltzer added that Rousey was not supposed to get her shoulders up, but for whatever reason they came up at the finish. It was also noted that it was strange that WWE called attention to the shoulder coming up, which could have been a Vince call or something Corey Graves did on his own. The replay showing this could be an indication that it was a call from the production truck. Meltzer also said the only screw-up was that Rousey was supposed to be "really pinned" as opposed to getting defeated with the fluke pin. He added that the finish could cause fans to think Rousey is staying for a rematch, but that's not the current plan as of this week.

Ronda’s matches are pretty mapped out from start to finish Macho Man style, so it just makes no sense for the finish to come at the point it did during the match. Still felt like they were building up to a finishing stretch and then it ends abruptly like that.

Honestly it's better that Charlotte didn't submit to Becky because I would have spot out my drink.

Becky looks like she doesn't even lift, but you're telling me she's going to get Charlotte to tap out? Nah.

First off, Wrestlemania was awesome despite the lackluster ending we all experienced but for real, it was great spending 7.5 hrs live posting with yall!

Aaaaaand it was also my first Mania with yall, too, so thanks. Lots of shenanigans, and playa hatin (as expected from yall nasty *** marks), but the most important thing was that we had fun doing it.

I’m looking forward to reading about @22stylez and @B Sox Mania experiences!

Be safe yall!

Props to H for getting back in time and giving Batista his final match and allowing him to go out on his terms. He could have easily mailed it in and not pushed himself during rehab from a torn chest at his age.

Decent. Think being on last and fans being drained did not do it any favors
You are not coming off 7hrs of wrestling and have given yourself a break

I'm about to throw it on now.

@Case how you feeling brother? How is your back?
