JAY Z PHYSICALLY ATTACKED BY BEYONCE'S SISTER [VIDEO]

It's 2014 cam and nas are irrelevant in hiphop that's a fact, not sure why people are upset about it

It's funny cause I am trying to write a little blurb about The Lox and as much as I keep bashing on their early career, they at least contribute to current day music. Nas and Cam are sort of those NY rappers that don't have to do much in these times but their relevancy to the youth is almost none existent. Sort of the same reason why Outkast got no love at Cochella.

Debating rappers is no different then saying who the best guitarist in rock and roll. No one person will be better then the other in certain people's opinions so why fight it? I still don't get the Boosie love but honestly I shouldn't cause of where I am from. I am sure in other regions of the world, he is praised as one of the best rappers in the world and I at least accept that and try not to think these people are disillusion. Just different strokes for different folks.

Yes but I also think rappers like Vinne Paz, Esoteric, Apathy, and Celph Titled are better than Jay Z.

Naw son Idk who that is but if he likes Paz he's cool in my book.

outkast didnt get love at cochella ???

@WhatCanISay  rememebr when these dudes was saying outkast is still relevant

the only thing i have against your well thought out statement is that jay z debut around the same time as nas and before camron but is way more relevant and still a big name in hiphop unlike those two

Clowns on here really live under a rock.

I actually accept that though. Honestly I lost touch of music a couple of years back. As much as I try and listen to what's good, I still have a hard time keeping up with things. It's just crazy times with music right now, both good and bad.

outkast didnt get love at cochella ::lol:  @WhatCanISay

Success wise yes, Jay -Z seems to be winning in that department but as an overall lyricist (wait, is that what we are fighting about?), it really doesn't make him a better MC. I have to reference the rock and roll thing again but if you look up best guitarist, more than likely the number one person is always Jimi Hendrix and I think to a certain degree, rap can be applied in that same manner. It's not the body of work you put out but what the work itself. Even Jay-Z admits that Reasonable Doubt is his unicorn and he would probably never create anything as good to that to this day. Nas might not have a consistent album average but Illmatic speaks volumes and will be talked about forever and well past even current rappers careers. That's more than what can be said about a lot of artists and great ones at that.

Fam in here with the most feels calling other people corny

Never understood why facts get people so angry.
No feels to be had. Don't project.

These jokes or w/e you're calling them make you sound corny. Like you really were born in 2001 and started listening to rap in 2010.

Not my fault.

Damn, this is a major bottle of ether lmao. You forgot crying like a woman giving birth in Killa Season

Jay has taken a few major Ls himself

-The Christopher Wallace plagiarism
-Charlie Baltimore
-Lance Un Rivera stabbing and then trying to shift the blame to someone else
-Ether
-Being a simp over Foxy Brown
-That crap he called Blueprint 2
-Letting Eminem upstage him on Renegade
-Letting Kendrick Lamar upstage him on the Don't Kill My Vibe remix
-Buying Artful Dodger and running a promising brand into the ground
-Running Rocawear into the ground

Not nearly the amount of losses that Cam has but still damn close

you make good points and I want to agree, the only reason I cant is before jay rap was a young man sport and if you were over 35 rapping you were looked down upon, jay not kidding when he says #newrules

You guys don't even realize how stupid you look, this thread isn't about Cam, Nas or even Jay rap wise, it's about Jay getting washed by his sister in law and the hilarity that ensued.

Y'all out here babbling like chicken heads about **** that doesn't even pertain to one of the most funniest threads I've seen on NT.

I wish I was Meth so I could delete all your dumb *** posts, y'all don't know when to stop man, it's always the same dudes too.

**** shoulda been archived pages back.

i bet you felt high and mighty typing that right?

Yall have really ruined this thread with all the Nas Jay Z talk. It was funny for awhile but it really derailed the thread. Then again Im not surprised this is NT. Carry on.

Reasonable doubt>>> Illmatic

Jay has consistently put out the same, if not better music since its release.
It's hard to accept it, but it's the truth. Time and Numbers are tough facts to beat.

So In my lifetime vol 1 was on par, or even possibly better than reasonable doubt

gotcha

Almost as intimidating as that one guy who keeps insulting people due to his own insecurities

Who do you speak of?

You don't know me fam because if you did you'd know that I have an over confidence problem not an insecurity problem.

Just because I don't respect your intelligence doesn't make me insecure, just observant, try again.
