Man, dude was nice when he played for Indi. I remember watching that team, thinking that they would have a solid future in store...

Two problems I would have with this if I'm New York. 1, if he retired three years ago because of his knees, how long can he really last? 2, how much has heplayed on a professional level since he retired? I know dude could still ball, but I'm also assuming that he wouldnt be able to like he used to.

I really, sincerely hope that he works out well in New York, because dude deserved better than to leave the game early without his own choice. I want to seehim do well, but at the same time I'm cautious with him coming back to the game so quickly...

But how did the KVH thing work out? Wasn't he out of the league for like 2 years when he signed w. the Nets only to be traded?

Well...KVH was brought back only so that Jason Kidd deal could work out since Devean George vetoed it, remember?

There is no Jason Kidd deal type scenario for the Knicks right now.

And Bender was drafted in 1999?
