Definitely had worse luck with goat than I have stockx. Even by my standards, this is pretty wild. Hopefully there's a logical explanation for this for you, man.

I don’t see how this can logically be explained. I opened up another support tab and they’re referring to my order as the Blazer 77. Seems to me like the “specialist” didn’t like how I pointed out their policy, and is screwing me over. They can play with me if they want, I’ll just do an Amex chargeback and clean those L&F’s 🤷🏾‍♂️

Guys, you might wanna stay away from Goat. These scumbags just tried to scam me. Ordered a pair of L&F’s, came with a stain on the heel, and crazy glue stains. I requested a return, and it was granted, however they wanted to deduct shipping from my refund. I kindly explained that shipping should be refunded back to me as well since they sent me the shoes in that condition. Today they agreed and said they would adjust the price. Suddenly, someone at Goat switched my whole order , with the same order number. and said I returned some Blazers instead, and denied my return. I still have the L&F’s, and never returned anything yet, since I was waiting on a full refund approval. Now my account shows I never purchased L&F’s at all, but Blazers instead. I’ve never seen these Blazers in my life. I wish I could make this crap up. They just lost one of their best customers. Buy with caution guys, I used to fully endorse them, but I can honestly say Goat is full of scammers

Rep told me that have 3-4 days to ship. I screenshotted the policy and it clearly states WITHIN 3 days or it supposed to be canceled and haven’t heard anything back since. I even sent a follow up today at like 6 and said yeah UPS closes in 30 minutes and still no shoes have shipped (day 4).

Imma make them either give me a credit for the price drop or make them express my shoes man.

They’re making you wait the full 10 days. Happened to me before with them, ebay, and oneness or one of those boutiques. It’s annoying when timing is crucial otherwise .. usually the least of worries when dealing w 3rd party apps.

I’m gonna tell you exactly what’s gonna happen in your case, since I’ve been dealing with Goat for a very long time. They’ll reply sooner or later, and agree that the seller didn’t ship in time. Then they’ll “attempt” to find you another pair, and your order status will change back to “purchased”, then “seller packaging”. Then magically, all within a few hours, the new pair will have “arrived at Goat for verification”. The following day you’ll have a pair ship to you from Hong Kong. Lemme know if I’m correct 🤣
 
GOAT tried to screw me once by saying I shipped an empty box to them (supposed to be a Supreme box logo crewneck)

They basically made me jump through all these hoops and sign an affidavit (with my wife signing as a witness) saying that I did have the item in the box

Eventually got paid out but I can’t imagine if it was a high priced sale

This just happened to me with a pair of zion jordan 1s!!!

Well everyone’s experiences are different, as with everything else. Personally, I’ve only used them a handful of times and I never had any issues. I typically go through StockX unless there’s a trusted eBay seller that has a better price.

I'm the same. I've never bought anything from them though ebay and stockx are my go to's. Anything expensive I want ebay so I can see the shoe first.

Stockx is for cheap stuff, for example I just doubled up on some Blue toe Questions for $80 earlier this week.

It's not that people are really pro GOAT it's just that, IME, StockX is so bad. Like clownishly bad. Date breach bad. GOAT became the lesser of 2 evils. Once eBay started authenticating, the grip GOAT/SX had on the market loosened up. That first year of no fee authentication almost ran GOAT and SX out of business for me at least.

I think Stock X biggest problem (authentication wise) is they got WAY too big too fast and couldn’t keep up with the volume they were doing. They sell way too much stuff on their platform

GOAT says i shipped a sz 10 instead of an 8
they send me back the sz 10
i fight, they credit me back my shipping

the sz 10 cleats will now be worn by my nephew for baseball season as the sz 8's were too tight for him at the time

I remember one time GOAT sent me a pair of NB/Bodega No Bad Days in a crushed shoe box.

First round of emails they blamed it on FedEX. I said "That impossible, because the outside box is still in perfect condition. Whatever happened, was before it was shipped"

THEN they tried to accuse me of sitting on the box talmbout "prove you didn't sit on the box"

Escalated it, right at that point and got my $20 credit. Don't think I've bought from them since I used that $20 credit
 
dang normally all I see are praises for GOAT. I've only had 1 bad experience w/ stockx, they sent me some mismatched slides for my daughter but they resolved it right away. We stick with what works for each of us I guess. For me its still stockx. I have yet to try Ebay I'm still living in the era when you were guaranteed fakes.
