Yeah the CDP XVIIIs were ashy, but so were my OG Royal Blues right out of the box from Foot Locker.

The CDP 18s have poor quality control though, seems like most of the backs of them are finished very poorly with wrinkles, creases, etc where the carbon fibermeets the suede.

Even new out of the box looks like your wearing used J's that is the best I can explain JB today.

i love my cdp 18 wouldn't trade it for nada!!! great shoe and nice looking
