I get the whole thin elephant print debacle and it is a nice look. But does the factory code really decide the elephant print???? Thin elephant print could just be on one side of these giant fabric sheets regardless of what factory these shoes are assembled in.

Also I’m calling it now we’re gonna start seeing these ig customizers who’ve made countless of coffee dipped neutral grey ones, filing down their elephant print until it’s almost erased And charging $200 for the service.

Its more of an appreciation of where it came from. To have an updated look of a shoe from that time period is incredible. We are never gonna get exactly what we all want.. But this comes pretty close.

I guess I’d be considered a “purist” when it comes to 95% of this accurate retro talk but when it comes to the 3 that thin EVEN strip of EP is better looking impo.

Overuse of the ep takes away from it as a detail and makes the shoe look tacky. Again just my opinion

It’s like $40 bucks less now. I know that price spike is coming next Saturday
