He's one of the most gimmicky ones with the constant cutaways. I had to stop watching anything he did, I get he needs it for views, but it's too much.

More like a shtick to differentiate himself from others. You need to offer something different to get more views on youtube, like I said I get why he does it, doesn't make it any less annoying.

I think it’s a little different for him. These other guys aren’t doing anything like wear testers though. His credibility on discussing the shoes in detail is what sets him apart IMO.

There is a thing as different audiences. While people like us will tune in to hear about details there is a much larger casual sneaker audience. Those people will find whatever sneaker video has the most views/is popular, and he needs to cater to those viewers by trying to entertain them.
