I'm sure there will be plenty of whining that the red isn't light enough but they definitely aren't as dark red as the 2016's, the leather is that premium stuff we've got on the 85 highs, and the shape is improved from previous years' 85 highs. That's enough for me.

Jordan 1s are tanks and with the thicker cut leather the High '85 releases use, that should also help to increase their longevity. Combine that with properly caring for these and 2 pairs is enough to not need another pair of Black/Reds ever again, or at least not for a long time. If I gotta drop $500 on two pairs, so be it.

The $250 price point is called inflation. It now costs Nike/JB more these days due to having to pay the slaves in China a higher hourly wage and because of this, they must pass the savings on to you.
