In that pic you’re right. I’ve never seen 72-10s with soles that look like that. If I did I would cop. Every single one I’ve seen looks nothing like this pic. Every single DS pair I’ve seen. Now I want to see if I find one like you have pictured here.Again, there outsoles could be the same, but if they’re different, it’s slight different.
EDIT: yeah every pic I see the 72-10 does have a yellow hint or off white tint to the soles. I like this pure white better. But it is close. Close but not the same. The 72-10 in this picture makes them look the same though. Wow look at the MIDDLE two pics. The 72-10 looks WHITER. Lighting for you I guess!
In this stock photo (goat) you see the yellow hue. Not a fan myself.

These anniversary 11s, though I find them wholly uninspired, don't look bad at all, but I'd like them more if the Jumpman was stitched like normal, and the number on the back was stitched. This metal-look stuff suck onto the shoe actually cheapens it to my eyes.

I feel it. This is a picture of mine. I’ve seen pairs where the outsole is TURNING to a more yellowish tone, but I’d describe the outsole as milky. Either way, I do feel like the outsole of these new 25ths does have a slightly more “clearish” tone, which I agree looks better. We’ll see when we have them in hand for sure.

IDK about quitting the shoe game or not buying XI anymore lol. I ain’t too crazy crazy about the letters on the Eyelets, I would rather not have it. But I guess they figured it would be too close to the SpaceJams or too similar to the 72-10. That milky/clear sole is nice though, my only issue is it gets yellow kinda fast.

I couldn’t care less about the box, it’s cool I guess, but the shoes are still dope as hell to me. I don’t need (or necessarily want) the JORDAN on the eyelets of any of my Jordan 11s, but I’m down with having that prototype detail on a single pair of 11s.

This was absolutely brilliant. Props.More pics of the Holiday 11s. Yeah, to me these are dope. Looks like the 23 on the back, the Jumpman on the heel, the JORDAN on the eyelets, and even the small Jumpman on the tongue detail, all are metal or have a metal/metallic look or aesthetic.
But these pictures, in particular the picture of the size tag, tell me something...
I THINK THESE ARE THE WOMENS HOLIDAY 11!
Firstly, the past two Women 11 holiday releases (The White/Metallic Silver and the Neutral Olives) started with the code “AR0715”. Men’s start with “378037” (the Concords, Blk/Reds, Cap & Gown, and Win like ‘82s and ‘96s all start with this code). Secondly, looking at the size specifically, it says it’s a US 10 and a UK 7.5, which makes sense since a Women’s US 10 is equal to a Men’s US 8.5 which is equal to a UK 7.5. If this was a Men’s shoe, a US 10 would read a UK 9.
I could be wrong, but again, I think the pair we’ve been seeing is the Woman’s Holiday 11, meaning the Men’s Holiday 11 is yet to be seen. Obviously we’ll find out.

Pass for me, got Barons, concords, and space jams, I'm skipping this release to hopefully pick up cap and gowns. I prefer them to these.

I copped a 12.5 of the UNC to Chi I's which is an 11 men's but I found them to be narrower than a men's 11. My guess would be women's sizing is narrower.

To Follow up the SJ, Concords, and Black/Reds w/ these is laughable. There was Only one colorway that made sense this year.
