Jordan XI Legend Blue - December 14, 2024

Jams and concords both had thin leather compared to OG’s and early retros.

They may have been thicker than what they use now, but that ain’t sayin much
OGs are OGs. It’s not even in the cards to compare to those. But yes the 2016 jam specifically had hella thick patent compared to now that’s all I’m saying. The brand can give two sh*** what you or I think. It’s bottom dollar, cheapest bunkest materials for the greatest return from our punk a**** buying the same regurgitated stuff year in year out 🤣🤣🤣

If 26 is Concords and 27 is Space Jams I may be done with Jordans at that point. With what will drop over the next 3 years any poor earlier OG retros will have been replaced with presumably better retros that will last me into my mid-50’s or longer

I would think SJs would be 2026 for the anniversary of the movie. After royal jams, I think 11 mids should go in the vault for a few years, even though that’s unlikely.

Crazy the cheap leather they are using.

These are the jubilees from a few years back and not a single crease and I have worn these a good amount of times...

I can’t even look at 2014s. Turrrrble shoe

Wild that dudes are actually acting like they didn't have thin patent leather.

Nike/JB hasn't had decent patent leather since the 2010 cool greys to me.

This random wrinkling isn't something new. It's been happening for a decade. I swear we keep having deja vu discussions with every release and everyone seems to have bad memories.

Dudes have moved on from complaining about black cements to these.

Yup. Just like dudes not recalling mismatch EP on every OG 3 for decades. Same repetitive conversations. These won’t crease badly for most people but it’s the same PL we’ve been getting for years. Pull out the caliper and check.

I’ve said this in another thread but There are certain pairs that they can release over and over and I will always (attempt to) pick up a pair.

Concord 11s are one of them. I still haven’t worn my 2018 pair but best believe I will have a pair of the next retro unless they’re a pair reimagined by someone at JB with a sick sense of humor.

Got my pair in. Quality is awful. Creasing is awful. They're also covered in dust or something.

The 'patent Leather' is thin/flimsy and creased up out of the box.

I've never been more disappointed. Even on foot they feel different compared to the Gratitudes. It's almost as if they're missing something on the inside that goes to the support.

Used a gift card on them but they're 100% going back.
