I played in my Zion 2 Voodoos yesterday for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The traction was excellent, felt even better than my 36 mids. Forefoot cushioning is definitely not as nice as the 36s, but that was expected based on the forefoot zoom unit in the Zions compared to the full-length Zoom stroble stacked on a Zoom unit in the 36s. Despite the firm carrier around the Zoom unit I didn't have any knee pain or foot pain after playing a number of games. I definitely noticed the traction playing defense and being able to move laterally and stay in front of everyone without sliding and losing any reaction time. Interestingly I had a number of people ask me what sneakers I was wearing. While I thought a lot of people would find them ugly, the people who asked me about them said they looked cool and were going to look to see if their size is still available. I'll give them another run tomorrow, but will probably rotate between the Zion 2 and the 36 for the next few weeks. Though the two shoes are different in many ways, they played like the Why Not 0.2 for me. A little bit of a bulkier of a build, big heel cup, slightly decoupled out-sole, but the Zion 2s are just a bit stiffer in the forefoot.

Can’t wait for the thanos/raptors to drop, these things are COMFY i rocked them for about 3-4 hours doing errands and my feet are usually always killing me by the time I get home cause I have a wide foot and wear mainly retros/brons/Kobe’s…. The Zion 2s and Luka 1s actually giving me hope for the Tatum 1s. I’m absolutely shocked that they’ve made 2 pairs of shoes that don’t look atrocious.
