<>Kanye West & Jay-Z 'Watch The Throne'<> Ns in PARIS video on pg. 290

After going through the whole album as soon as I woke up, this definately lived up to the hype. Very near classic status, IMO.

My Favs:

Lift Off
N's in Paris
Who Gon Stop Me
Murder To Exellence
Why I Love You
Illest M*** Alive
Primetime

Please....its the same people posting on every other page saying how great they are like their +#%% don't stink.

I'm merely pointing out how comical some of the responses are (and I'm not the only one), and its amazing how little exposure to OTHER genre's of music there is on this board.....this production is solid but nothing groundbreaking and/or original. From a hip hop standpoint sure but its been done in other genre's. Its not a swipe people just need to chill.

Not surprised the best produced tracks on this album involve guys like Q-Tip and Pete Rock.

What does this have to do with anyones opinion on the album?

I'm not jocking but maybe you need better speakers or something cause the beats are very well produced and deserves more than "solid"

Actually, after hearing HAM when it dropped, i thought this would be garbage. But after a few listens front to back, this a solid effort.

This can be said for just about every genre though.. What original concepts have been brought to rock in the past 10 years? What original concepts have been brought to the blues? Soul?

Hip hop is really the newest genre of music to be this big, and for stuff like this its kinda a big deal.
Nobody knocked the first rock group to incorporate a full orchestra into their production. People probably went !%*%%$@ bananas for that. Why hate on this?

Having your opinion on the album is one thing, but my dude was right, don't knock someone else's personal taste in music. Some of you are sounding like elitists or some *!$!. Its just music, and music is supposed to be for everyone, let everyone do them and you do you.

was driving to work  in my car doing my usual commute but except today i was listening to WTT. As i merged onto the freeway and accelerated Lift Off came on. felt like Han Solo in the Millenium Falcon dodging astroids going warp speed. This was during rush hour so after I merged I immediately hit traffic and slammed hard on my breaks. good song

Because I read comments about this kind of production "never being done before" and acting like all of my sins would be washed away if I listen to this album. I'm knocking the stan-!%! comments not the taste in music.
And not every track is an amazing gem production wise some are really good and some are meh which = solid, and I have good speakers.

God forbid I don't say its 5/5.

no one album should have this much power.

Going off some of these comments, you'd think it's like divine intervention listening to this album.

It really isn't, though.

Then why do I keep hearing and seeing things

at the "impartial" part. It's music - you either like it or don't like it, and if you don't you're probably in the wrong thread.

I'm sure you & many others like yourself "liked" the album before you heard a single track.

Can speak for anyone else, but could I like the album before hearing it?I heard it, and I like it. So what's the issue?

I was inferring that you'd like the album regardless of how it sounded because you've already formulated an opinion on Jay-Z and Kanye's music. Well that & the number of posts you have in this thread, especially the ones taking defensive tones.

People love the album, then people love the album.

Bet let's be real. There's A LOT of off the wall comments in this thread, praising the album.

Going off some of these comments, you'd think it's like divine intervention listening to this album.

It really isn't, though.

The energy and chemistry are definitely there. The lyrics are hit or miss.

It will stay in rotation because it's good listening music, not because it's Jay-Z and Kanye.

I'm going to give this a more detailed listen later this evening, but man...amazingly average comes to mind right now.

...N's In Paris BANGS, though.
Its not that, its like some of you can't handle a group of people who all like something.
Mostly all it is.
Spare me all the elitist BS my iPod consists of artists ranging from Bach inspired albums to Dennis Brown to Misfits to Kool G Rap to Janis Joplin to Foreign Exchange and I still think the production on this album is superb. Hiding behind I'm so eclectic

Its okay to say well this track doesn't really move me or I think this track was subpar and could have been better but yall on this "you must only listen to rap nonsense" is no type of productive critique
