Kanye YEEZUS Tour With Kendrick Lamar (NEW DATES ADDED 10/22)

Can't wait for Monday's show. I really liked WTT and GITD. I think part of what made GIDT so good was all the openers

How does the Yeezus tour stack up against the Glow in the dark Tour?

I feel like I had more fun at GITD and WTT because it felt like a party atmosphere. Yeezus had a different tone but it was a wild experience. The production value was insane, from the set design to the extras to the wardrobe. It was just a treat for the eyes.

Yeezus as an album is way more enjoyable live.

Son recorded the whole concert on his Instagram though good lord :lol :{

I wish they would've enforced the no recording thing more seriously. The amount of phones out during the show was sickening.
Snapping a pic is cool but how people can watch a whole concert through their smartphone is beyond me.

idk if this makes any sense, but I'm going to attempt to say it anyways.

This whole Yeezus type personna he's taking on with the masks and stuff is very different. At the concert I almost felt like I was in a medieval times of the future where the entire city gather's to hear their one supreme ruler speak. Almost like a gathering for a hero or villain or something idk how to explain it.

This was my first Kanye concert and I loved it. You can tell just how passionate Ye' is when he performs his song. You just feel a sense of authenticity coming from Kanye. Almost as if the rest of the world just stops.

InB4 the d riding, stans etc. Idk, I loved this show and wouldn't hesitate to go again given the opportunity.

Co sign but every time I see this statement I feel like pointing out you can record and watch the stage at the same time. I never look at my phone when recording at shows except initially to center the shot I want.

After the first yeezus show I saw complaints and people saying Ye was sleeping on stage and whatnot, and I still dont know if it was trolling but I immediately put my ticket up for sale.

But since then I havent seen one negative review so I'm gonna stick it out. I hope the good reviews are not just fanboys who wouldn't dare criticize Kanye.

Btw anyone know why the Sunday MSG show seems to be more popular than saturday?? My only guess is theres more **** going on in NYC that night. Otherwise, its sat night, start time an hour later, kendrick guest instead of atcq, all factors for being a more premium show..

Just left the Oakland show. By far the best performance I've been to. Blood on the leaves was my favorite from the fire to the lava on the mountain. Flashing lights was :smokin

Got back from the Oracle, the latter half of Kanye's performance was better prolly cuz he was pretty much done with songs from Yeezus. Dude talked to dam much too at times like goddam kanye just play somethin

November 8th can't come here soon enough.

-Yeah it did feel like he stopped and talked 3-4 times last night. I did like his "iam a God" explanation though
-Kris jenner caused quite a stir when she entered. had people asking if they could use our seats to take pics of her sitting down :rolleyes
- I'm convinced that the whole "no audio video recording" thing was part of the whole FU to the corporations theme he had going on. I remember GITD they had people coming telling people they couldnt tape, didnt even have a single person bother us or anyone and we were right by a GA entrance.
-Concert didn't flow well to me, until like you said he dropped the yeezus stuff. For me i think it's because i hadn't seen him SINCE GITD and his sound has evolved so much, the 808's song choices were great. through the wire, blood on the leaves, i wonder, good life were all :hat
-nice to see ye grinning having fun during good life, and basically the 2nd half, great energy as always
- DEF JELLY some peeps get Travi, a tribe called quest, or Pusha. Not a fan of Kendrick, not saying he's wack in any shape or form but I can't really get with these new rappers. I think Kanye was the last rapper besides jay where i still anticipate new material.

Concerts not even touching GITD. Thats not a bad thing. The reason the concert was so great besides kanyes energy and amazing set and effects is that he brought some top names with him to perform. I mean you got Lupe, N.e.r.d. and rihanna who def helped with the party atmosphere someone mentioned. That will always be a steal to me and no artist will ever do that again, if they do itll cost more and will be for charity. My tix were $90 for that and i was in the front row off to the side right before GA was. Got the same seating this time around for about $150 each. Not complaining because def worth it. but GITD had everyone spoiled. I told everyone before GITD to enjoy it because he's never doing anything like this again.

Cant wait for the Anaheim show!

For you guys that have already went, how soon should I arrive before the show to anticipate the crowd and parking and all that stuff?

For you guys that bought merch, was it a problem with the stuff selling out?

Sober enough to talk about Oaklands show now. I had GA Floor so we had a different entrance. I did notice that our merch table only had shirts and not sweats or confederate flag tote bags or hats, none of that. Prices arent $100 for a shirt, their $35 for a shirt and $40 for any shirt sized XXL. Buy them before the show starts because I bought 2 before had no trouble with sizes but had to get another for my brother and they were running out of sizes real fast, you shouldn't have worries if you're looking into size XXL, they had enough of those. Mediums and Larges sold out pretty fast, but then again I had the floor merch table which was a limited selection and only 1 table. Maybe you'll have better luck if you have seats and can just walk to other merch tables.

Kendrick's set was correctly guessed at like 45 minutes. He gave a Shoutout to his 1 year anniversary of GKMC. Forgot during/after one song he had a mini rant saying "Yo west coast! As long as I'm here no one is touching us!" Said that about 3 times for a chant. He had screens up showing video of Compton to follow the story of GKMC but I thought he was gonna make a short movie about GKMC but I heard this way back so I don't know what happened with that. It looked like a movie to me.

Intermission for Kanye was like another 45 minutes. Reason its so long it to change the set for Kanye. Close to the start Kris (Kim's mom) showed up and sat at VIP as mentioned before. Later about 2 or 3 songs in I turn around (I was pretty close to the stage) and Kim was there, I'm guessing to not attract too much attention Like her mom did.

Kanye went up masks and music galore. During the usual part of Runaway where he would be crying in autotune he went on a rant about the media hunts him down but the real fans stick with me and about media and how were more powerful we can beat the media.

I believe his mic went out for the 2nd verse of Power I'm not sure in the song but even Kanye didn't notice. My older bro went to San Jose's and we compared, our Jesus didn't talk at all since I heard SJ had technical difficulties maybe their mixing something up

There was no Hey Mama instrumental at all, he briefly talked about his mom but just went into Coldest Winter with snow falling down from the sky aka small soap bubbles.

When I saw the set list and it said encore, I didn't notice an encore at all, just one solid performance the entire night. I guess the "encore" was him going back into the mountain for a quick costume change with a different mask and put on his Red Octobers. Like 2 mins max

My first Kanye concert because my older bro saw GITD and WTT and told me I'll regret it. Amazing to say the least.

I have photos and video posted on my IG in my sig if you want to see, I'm tall and was pretty close I would say to get good shots

Was I the only one that had a hard time understanding anything he said last night? I didn't thinj the sound quality was all that great in general...granted I know he moves around a lot and the stage is in the middle so you want to avoid feedback as much as you can...
