Truer word have never been spoken. Men are by far the more insecure sex/gender.

I don't care how much you make, not wanting your wife to also make money is hustling backward:rofl::rofl::rofl:

My wife makes way less than me, but that extra 100+ grand of income can be put to good use. Education fund for kids, investments, etc.

Not sure how that can be measured but I will say men and women's insecurities are DIFFERENT.

Generally speaking, We worry about different things.

Not sure one is more/less insecure than the other.

I won’t get into the why’s because every man has their reason but mine is simply because I won’t be in a position to which I need her money. Her money will be an addition, not a need. At the end of the day, as a man, nobody will take care of you. More men need to be on their purpose and let the women come along because they will always be there.

As a woman, no one should take care of you. People need to stop pushing this homemaker/housewife narrative.

Women need to take care of themselves also

As a human being, you shouldn't "need" anyone to take care of you.

It goes back to the convo 2 pages ago about whether or not being in a relationship is a need or a want.

EVERYONE should be raised to be self-sufficient.

What do we worry about that they don’t?

Men literally make laws and go to war because of their insecurities. I say that's worse. Men's insecurities have consequences for social/public wellness.

Cool. But women have that option. Nobody will take care of a man. So we always need to be on our ****.

.... which is downright stupidity.

Some men don’t want an educated/intelligent woman why? Because they want to CONTROL and manipulate. Most men are way more insecure than women. That’s why they user verbal abuse tactics in order to belittle and control women

I dont think theres a lot of men that are specifically looking for uneducated women lol. If thats the case then yea you're probably right.

But maybe its just not a deal breaker for some. Being educated doesnt necessarily translate into being a good partner, good mother or good person in general. Granted you may be avoiding a certain set of problems by only dating formally educated women but I dont think having a formal education or high paying career is correlated with having successful relationships.

All them stats aint gonna seem like **** when you 10 years in with kids with a person who you dont love and who doesnt love you.

What do we worry about that they don’t?

We worry about protecting our masculinity at all costs. There are dozens of things that fall under that umbrella that isn't a main focus for most women.

We worry about not being able to provide for our families. (Not just monetarily)

Yes, single mothers also feel that pressure but men are essentially here for utility and if we can't provide that, it is a shot at our manhood.

We worry about physically protecting our women and children. Again, not saying women DON'T but the burden of physical protection doesn't hall on them the way it falls on us.

In short, our insecurities are different. We all have them.

Yes, I agree. Men's insecurities hold more weight.

Correct, we make the laws because we are in the position to do so.

I don't think that necessarily means we are MORE insecure than women. I think we are just in a better position to protect/do something about our insecurities than women.

Seems like folks enjoy building strawmen way more than actually listening.

Samuels is speaking about what women have defined as "high value men".

What value does a woman's PHD have for this small percentage of the male population?

These women do not want to work or pay significant bills after pregnancy...so why the PHD?

Much better way of explaining it right here.

I agree. I don't think a woman' career is AS MUCH of a dealbreaker than if the roles were reversed.

Nobody is saying they want their woman to be jobless and sitting at home doing nothing.

Obviously not. Looking for a woman who shares the same values as you DOES. Education and high aspirations are heavily weighted values for some men when it comes to relationships long term.

If anything I don't want my daughter being raised in a household thinking it is normal for a woman not to be educated or have a career.

Nothing is guaranteed in relationships but do your best to have a list of attributes you consider non-negotiable.

Where did you get this from?:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I know countless women with PhDs with kids who still work. One of my chief resident surgeons in medical school was working and doing surgeries later her pregnancy.

The women that call into his show.

Everyone, should just raise their children with the mentality that they will be the most undesirable human adult when they become of age.

Give them every skill you possibly can because, as you said, being in a relationship isn't a guarantee.

LOL the women who call into the show aren't representative of the population. I am actually someone who works in academia with many women who hold doctorates and your statement wa beyond idiotic.

It is obvious your social and career circle has an influence about how people view this topic. The notion of a woman quitting after spending 6 years getting a PhD just because she got pregnant is ridiculous. Taking maternity leave, yes, but retiring...hell no.

You haven't watched the videos yet feel compelled to comment on the videos that you haven't watched?

Then from your throne atop a mountain of ignorance you chose to engage in logical fallacies, shoot insults, & talk down at others who have actually watched the videos?

Interesting.

Academia? Word?

I didn’t make the statement. Quote the correct person.

Yea, I don't know if the women that call into KS's show represent the majority of women that have completed multiple degrees. I seriously doubt most women with multiple degrees want to stay home and not work.

Now, that isn't to say if they got lucky and ended up with a millionaire they would REJECT the proposition but I don't know if most are actively seeking that type of arrangement.

But again, I haven't polled anyone so that is just my guess.

There are many countries being run by female prime ministers/presidents right now that have proven to be more stable than the male elected officials we have in this country.

You never said you got it from the videos in your original post.

yea, I said academia. I've been exposed to educated women with doctorates my entire life, from my mother, to college professors to colleagues. I think my experiences hold a lot more weight than some dude who watches YouTube videos.
