Fake. Don't remember XDRs of these releasing outside of China. Laces are fake, colors aren't gray enough, swoosh isn't angeled high enough, shozuku's 3 points are too close together and not split wide enough.

He also says they're "GC". What does that mean? I've never bought kobe 8's before

"GC" probably refers to the XDR or extra durable outsole.

But since this is a fake, you shouldn't be worrying about these shoes.
