Had someone who won a raffle at champs sell these to me . Just want to make sure they’re legit . Came with receipt & bag but I always like to double check .

I have a couple concerns . in the 2nd to last pic for example , there seems to be glue stains on the elephant print . Also in the last pic , above the air bubble , it looks like a little bit of an uneven paint job . Lastly , in pic 7 , the left shoe seems to have a higher elephant print toe box than the right shoe . I mean I know not every pair coming out a factory is gonna be perfect . I just wanna know if any of this is cause for suspicion

And in general just wanna know if these check out

Thanks

I also read an old thread on here that another way to check authenticity is to see if the barcode on the tongue of the sneakers match the barcode on the box label . And if the sneaker code on the receipt matches the code on the champs sticker on the box . I uploaded pics of what I’m talking about

well fakes can have matching numbers and people can also make fake receipts as well.

Well what’s your opinion on these ? Legit ?
I uploaded a pic of the receipt as well

The guy won the raffle , I PayPal’d him the $ , he went to scoop them at the champs store & he sent me a video of them after he got them , then shipped same day . So there’s a lot of built trust there but I just always like to be sure

I didnt state they where fake or legit just passing on some knowledge to someone unaware of what people do I dont know enough about these new 3s to give a legit check just passing on some info for future purchases.

Legit. The paint near the air bubble is common, QC wasn't that great. Also glue stain is normal for these.

Need to know whats the deal with this whole LN3 vs LN4 stuff online. A bunch of youtubers stating that LN4 is fake but from everything I gathered its just a factory in China. Bought my BC 3's on opening day at Champs and it has LN4 instead of LN3. Did Champs sell me a fake? Everything else is consistent in terms of "legit". Sorry to hijack your thread OP.

No they are production lines within the factory. You didn't get a fake. Just because one guy on YouTube says something like that it spreads like wild fire unfortunately. I've watched several YouTubers talk about these 3s and what makes a real to a fake. It's entertainment at this point. Don't believe everything they all say. Some are just clowns.

Thanks man. I'm pretty new to the sneaker world and was somewhat bewildered by the ln3 ln4 thing lol.

Hey guys weird question but with this recent release of the 3’s , was the paint changed ? I have a 2011 pair & I notice the white midsole had a more soft acrylic feel to it . This year’s pair is a little more rough .

Yup, I think starting around 2015-2016 they changed up how midsoles are painted. Supposedly this new painting process makes it so the paint does not chip easily. I don't have experience with the True Blue 3s from 2016 but I am reading that people have not had paint chip problems.
