dude, he had an outlier of a season. 1 season... he will never be able to duplicate that. He’s older and injured and is only effective when he’s holding on the ball for too damn long. One season you couldn’t ever play him in the 4th cause of how poor his defense was and the following he was the leagues leader for scoring in the 4th.
The latter had nothing to do with him and more with the Celtics/Stevens tayloring the offense to help IT thrive, however that came at the cost alienating teammates.. it’s not team ball.
The takes aren’t hot. It’s reality. The Celtics made the most out of what they had and were able to sell high.

His ability to score, even when healthy, doesn't make up for him being literally the worst defender in the NBA and dribbling the ball for the entirety of offensive possessions.
Players like him are best suited off the bench but even then I'd rather stay away from him after this season.

Once Zo is back I want to see IT3 in VERY limited minutes. The guard rotation should be Zo-Hart-KCP with Zo and Ingram splitting primary ball handling responsiblities. It's like I said after the Mavs game, unless IT3 is getting you 30 points on good efficiency he's a net negative on the floor because his defense is so bad. He's just not a good fit for this team, he needs the ball in his hand to be productive and once Zo is back that's not gonna be the case.
