**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

If Mintz was trying to be spiteful he's not doing a very good job. PG's deal was terrible, Randle probably not even getting an offer sheet, D'Lo an afterthought.

There's no "so be it".

If we completely strike out in free agency our front office has failed. End of story. And if they fail to follow through on their promises they deserve to be called out for it.

Im trying to win titles. Y'all are comfortable having young players who are just buddies on IG and Twitter.

IF.

It's been 10 hours. 1 real FA is off the board.

Calm. Down.

Had a little time to process things. What happened to building it the right way? Letting the young guys grow and adding pieces along the way? I know it is easy to be upset from striking out on FA's but are we really gonna unload everything just to get a star? Years and years of tanking, I remember being glad when we got Julius thinking he will be solid. And now that he is a solid player, we just let him go? We have to atleast have an attractive team for FAs to come.

Lebron, Kawhi Lakers sure looks good but it is not the end of the world if we miss out. Just keep building, add solid pieces and move forward. Just look at this Warriors team, not a lot of ppl knew how good Steph, Klay and Draymond would be when they first started. They got really good and people came.

Eveeybody relax. Sleep on it. It will make you feel better

Whatever happens happens. First it was “just give me PG. then ok we’ll take LeBron and PG. then greed set in and it was LeBron PG and Kaawhi while keeping everyone except Hart and future first rounder.

Give me Randle. Give me a 40 win season next year if everyone stays healthy.

Give me another chance at FAs next year.

Patience.

Enough with the smoke screen talk...we are just not appealing to guys trying to win chips...years away with our core...no one is coming here...time to move on

What is that BI, Kuzma, Zo, Randle team winning though? None of these guys are future all-NBA players. Id bet none if those guys ever make an all-NBA team. We're a treadmill team in the making.
We don't know what they'll turn into cuz they're still kids, that's why you keep them and let them continue to develop. But this fantasy team ain't a good long term plan. You don't put all your hope in players that's 34 and late 20's that have never played together.

Lebron, Kawhi and PG are not even a good fit. Their styles are too similar. That team would be on a treadmill losing to the Warriors for the next 2-3 years then what? We back in team tank? Gotta take your desperation and thirst for a superstar outta this.
