**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

We're about to strike out on PG, Kawhi and LeBron. We're not making the playoffs until 2022:smh:

I'm still rocking with Bron to the Lakers until I see tweets to the contrary.
I’m saying  . Nothing states that he told the Lakers no, and so what if Rich Paul is meeting with Philly today. LeBron ain’t even gonna be there.

Don't worry. The kids will all be on their 2nd contracts by then and we might be competing for the 7th seed.

But hey, at least the Warriors run will be over! #WaitItOut #LetEmGrow

If he comes, then I hope the team isn’t gutted too much to please him.
If he doesn’t, then we will have to develop our young guns even further.

I just hope for the best for the team.

I'd much rather have Randle for QO money than Cappela at the max.

If it's between brining the whole team back from last season and maxing on Cappela, I say run it back.

Why is everyone so scared of signing no 'big' free agents this summer?
Of course Id love to sign Bron, trade for Kiwi or whatever but our team is growing and exciting.

If we resign Randle, which is now very probable, and Zo can be healthy for opening night, we're going to have a very exciting season next year with the team we have now.

Saving the space, letting the kids grow, and going after free agents harder next off-season would be fine if we strike out this summer *shrug*

Zo, Hart, Kuz, Ingram, Julius fully healthy-- all with an entire year of NBA experience under their belt, and an entire summer of training, film study and practice = exciting 2018 season for me.

Lebron to philly ? He’s made his decision announcing Tuesday and hasn’t met with the lakers

That better or worse than begging free agents to come here for 6 straight years and striking out?

We're against letting the kids grow because our front office has made signing stars their priority from day one. If they hadn't put a bullseye on their back we'd be easier on them.

Also, like I've mentioned before, the 2019 free agency pool is shallow. We don't need Kyrie, Butler is re-signing and Klay is leaning toward re-signing too. Who exactly are we saving money for?

I'm firmly against waiting for Kawhi. We need to make a trade for him. He'll resign if hes traded for Philly, Boston or the Clippers
