There are a whole host of dominoes that would have fallen differently if we draft Tatum. If we know we're drafting Tatum at #2, we probably don't trade Russell because we would need a starting point guard. If we don't trade Russell and get rid of Mozgovs contract we wouldn't have the cap space to sign LeBron.
Not to mention that if we draft Tatum at #2, we probably don't get another wing in Kuzma at 27

Thats alot of assumptions. The price for getting rid of 3 years of Mozgovs deal was a blue chip prospect or multiple firsts. Even knowing what we know now, we made the right decision. Those guys just got done with their rookie year, be patient. We already have players who can do things similar to Tatum. There arent too many players in the league who can do what Lonzo does.

Bc dudes clamoring over jay Tay like he that much nicer than Zo. He not. Zo a future superstar as well
And Zo got that uncanny ability to be well liked. And this quality will pay dividends over the course of his career as dudes line up to play with him—see LBJ. Plus he’ll maintain optimal team chemistry.
Zo also marketable which will help the laker brand globally. He’ll have the kobe effect.
Tatum just ain’t got the juice like that.

What are you talking about? Zo has no personality or charisma at all. All the BBB buzz comes from Lavar running his mouth.
Alot of big stars don't have big personalities. You know what sells? Being a good basketball player.

That may be your impression based on 2 hour games
But based on his snaps with his teammates and ball in the family you get a better idea of his personality. I think he’s still getting comfortable with his role as the leader of the team. His personality will shine more and more with time
He’s already a good basketball player. And he’ll evolve to elite status
