**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Look how many minutes had on them legs...and stephs work ethic and trainers brought him back...maybe thats what should be looked at

Wonder if Lonzo’s bow leggedness has anything to do with it. He seems to roll his ankle a lot and all he did was plant his foot, didn’t land on anyone’s . But Steph does that a lot too so who knows

Lol at saying it’s the shoes

Derrick rose wore adidas. Confirmed that those shoes are horrible

Kobe and cousins wore Nike. Tore their Achilles. Confirmed. Nike causes Achilles tears.

Bynum wore Nike too. Kawhi hurt himself in Jordan’s, confirmed. Jordan’s suck

It’s different when 2/3 athletes wearing BBB have ankle injuries every year (Zo, Gelo). 66% injury rate

And a few athletes out of hundreds wearing Nike/Adi with consistent foot injuries. Like 2% injury rate

Lol but on the real I don’t think the shoes the issue. Agree wit Lizakers that it’s more to do with Zo being bow legged.. he naturally walk with emphasis on the lateral portion of his foot.. so he prone to rolling it

Yeah 4-6 weeks is optimistic for a grade 3 ankle sprain. Surgery usually requires a 10+ week heeling process whereas rest and rehab is approx. 8+.

Knowing our training staff and our players havin the woat genetics we know Zo will be out at least 8 weeks
im sure your mans marco will expedite the healing process

Sounds like Rondo COULD be back Thursday, but not 100% guaranteed yet. But he is practicing 5 on 5 again at least.

Warriors gonna murder death kill us tonight, couple days to practice/rest, hopefully we can get those him back at least and start to get back on track.

No word on Bron yet.

Honestly, we should just rest our core guys tonight. No Zo, no Lebron, no Rondo. Just let Zubac, Wagner, Beasley Svi go crazy. We ain't beating the Warriors

Why would the Lakers want Melo? We already have Lebron, BI, Kuzma playing in the 3/4 spots. We don't need another black hole on offense.
