**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Lebron had 4 terrible possessions to end the game. If I remember correctly :

took a step back 3,
pull up jumper from about 20 ft,
drove to the basket and put up a bad shot with DJ in front of him,
and the last shot that got blocked.

National media is jumping on the block shot play but the true story is how bad he played to close out the game. Dude cannot close out a game.

I dont want to turn this in a Lebron vs Kobe, but it upsets me that after a game like this, all I can think about is a 34 year Kobe dunking all over the Nets, making play after play against Toronto at home, willing the team to a win against GSW...
Kobe took 3 contested fade-away 3s tho and those aren’t “good shots” lol

Bean is just the GOAT bad/tough shot maker lol

Aside from him just being the GOAT bad shot making dude could CLOSE OUT games. He know exactly what spot he wanted to go to on the floor and nothing could stop him from getting there and him getting his shot off. The best footwork, efficient , didnt waste time, he just executed at the end of games. He took smart shots the last 2-3 mins of games. Saved all that low percentage, turnaround/fadeaway stuff for earlier in the game.

Go back to the last play of this game. with like 6-7 secs left Lebron is dribbling the ball way the hell over by halfcourt.....? What is he doing??
At his size he nearly doesnt post up enough. He is still too big for most SF's and at this point of his career against other SF's he should damn near be Hakeem in the paint. He is good enough to get all those moves down there. Sad that he settles for the dumb shots that he takes.

The fade away 3s I’m talking about we’re all in the last min of the game tho lol

And yeah Bean is way more polished offensively. He was def efficient and getting to his spots.

Huge W/Loss today. Crazy we goin from playoff push to supreme tank levels so quickly, but this pick could be a real help for us.

Need Bron to trick/recruit just one Max to come this summer. Then revisit a possible AD deal.
Ya know.....if it was Kyrie, takes Boston out of AD range and leaves us holding all the cards. (I prefer Kawhi, obviously, but Kyrie would hurt Boston and help with AD, so that needs to be considered.)

Pretty much replacing KLove with AD but in LA
