Vogel is a better coach than Lue anyway. That Chip he got was all from Lebron. He ain't done **** without Bron.

^ Exactly. I'm excited about that. We've always heard everyone compare Lonzo's game to Kidd's. If he can help Lonzo get to that next level than the Lakers will improve just off of that. His defense is already pretty good....

The transition, defense, and rotation of the ball when theres a full roster is fine already. Kidd will help with that but what we really need is a damb shooting coach. 3p and FT should be the priority of the coaching staff

Just because the team got better after he left doesn’t mean that had nothing to do with Kidd.
Remember- Giannis really likes him and credited him with a lot of the improvement in his game.
People love to give the coach that comes after all the credit. That’s really, really bad logic.
Mark Jackson set that foundation in Golden State whether people want to give him credit or not.
Kidd put in work in Milwaukee as well. Budenholzer didn’t just show up and make things click without work being put in prior to his hiring.

Yup Forcier would be a good get for sure. By all accounts he’s done a tremendous job in regards to player development. Phil handy as well from Toronto but I’m not sure if that’s realistic anymore. But **** we just need Miles Simon gone asapThere's a coach connect Vogel has with a guy from San Antonio who coached Kawhi. If they pull that guy as another assistant......
Yeah I’m hopeful as well. As long as kidd stays away from game planning and just focuses on Lonzo then that could be beneficial. But things like this don’t make me that optimistic. Maybe Kidd recognizes his own growth as a shooter and encourages Zo to shoot more.

How quick we are to forget that Larry Bird fired Vogel after Bird realized that Vogel didn’t know how to properly utilize Paul George, a top 10 talent in this league.
If there is a huge red flag with this hiring, it’s that for sure.
Vogel BEGGED to keep his job and Bird wasn’t having it.
Like I said earlier Vogel is solid. But he’s done almost nothing to actually prove that he’s a better coach than Lue.
Pointing to Lue’s 8 or so game stint with the Collin Sexton Kevin Love led Cavs would be completely disengenuous and silly.
