**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Bron just never was right for this city or the timeline. Everything has to be in a rushed state to try and get whatever is left out of him and even what's left may not be good enough in the west as we saw when he was healthy initially and TRIED to activate after the injury. It's hard to play with an aging superstar to begin with let alone one that comes with as much baggage as Bron. This fanbase should know better than any. Him asking out would be a blessing in disguise, he knew what he signed up for and there was no guarantee he'd get somebody else to join him.

The hate is strong in here still I see?

*insert Silky Johnson gif here*

Let’s see how it plays out before we go down the whole “Good Omens” route eh?

Even if we sign people that don’t mean ****. We could easily have another injury and/or the team could just be straight up bad(which would make us even more of a laughing stock) and we don’t go anywhere.

Trade bron so we can have fresh legs :lol:

For your guys sake if having myguy on the team = getting AD + Kyrie/Kawhi that turns into a win

AD ky and Klaw are young so when Raymone dips there’s still 1 or 2 top players

As the July gets close it seems more and more likely an AD deal gets done. The FA is the hard part imo
Out of the young guys BI is the only one that looks like he can be special special

Could say the same about any team in the league

Yea he's bluffing. He already said if he doesn't win, hey at least he's in LA. He has too many ventures and opportunities out here. Where else is he gonna go at this point and be in a guaranteed better basketball situation? We're going to get SOMEBODY, it's just a matter of who. We're stuck with him

It's hilarious. They let Puke put his volleyball buddies on his bench for three years, not they're swinging to the other side of the pendulum. :lol

Adrian Wojnarowski
@wojespn

The Lakers are hiring Lionel Hollins as an assistant coach, league sources tell ESPN. Hollins is the all-time winningest coach in Memphis and also led Brooklyn to the playoffs. Hollins joins Jason Kidd on Frank Vogel’s new staff

lionel is already better than most Hc in the league

solid move tbh
