7 year anniversary of the Dwight trade. What we thought was the beginning of a new era of Laker greatness was actually the beginning of the worst 7 year run of Lakers basketball we've ever had (and the beginning of the end of Dwight's career). I remember how excited I was at the time. Crazy that its already been 7 years

Like I said earlier, he played defense when he wanted to... but he wasnt an elite defender every night...
Even Tex Winter said his defense wasnt that great

Kawhi is one of the 3 or 4 greatest defenders ever and even he when his offensive load increased saw considerable slippage. Nobody in history has been able to give maximum effort on both ends every single night.
