I was listening to Jay Williams on 1st take and he said this had a JFK feel to it. From what I've heard and seen on documentaries that's a very accurate comparison. I've never seen so many people of different races and ages in tears. Michael Jackson was close but even though he was loved he had kinda became a extremely controversial figure later in his life. Kobe was widely loved/praised having a GREAT retirement then just outta nowhere a tragedy happened.

Are they gonna have a funeral like they did for Muhammad Ali where the service will travel through the city? Might be the biggest turnout ever.

Damn Jason Terry is talking about his AAU coached team was suppose to play Gianna's AAU team yesterday morning. He says he pulled up and parked outside the Mamba Sports Academy and got the call and news from his wife.

It's a global affect man. Prime Ministers of countries are talking about his death there was a article in the LA Times. Celebs, athletes from all sports, Barack Obama and even Trump tweeted out respect for him.

Seeing this in the montage brought me way back. That first chip man... I was 8 years old and was the happiest kid in the world.
Today was just tough to see the news and the freaking 1978-2020 isn't processing...
