**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Carushow and Cook load managing? What they gotta do to get in the game? I guess they riding Rondo's hot hand tonight.

Good win. I know it's a sub .500 team but nothing wrong with beating the teams you should.

Hopefully Wednesday Bradly and Rondo can hit 3's like they did tonight.

bradley been getting back into stride bruh it's been encouraging

I know Rondo balled today but whatsup with the lack of Caruso minutes.

Dwight 4 min vs Hou
KCP 4 min vs GS
Caruso 4 min vs Pho

I think it's a form of load managing. Weird pattern at least, but could be givin them a lil extra rest near ASB.

Our record is misleading

26-2 vs. teams under .500
14-10 vs. teams .500 or better

Every team record looks like that outside of the Bucks. 😂

even in our old glory years with Phil n Kobe we struggled against bad teams, so it’s not always a given that a championship caliber team piles up wins against bad teams

I don't know what your point is, bottom line, get Homecourt + Two Top 5 players, no back to backs, you are gonna be tough to beat.

No other team in the NBA would have that.

Caruso got less minutes cause Rondo was on fire
10 man rotation remains in tact.
One more game til the all star break.
Hopefully they finish strong

We are the worst 40-12 team in the league.

Bruh...the WORST.

We should just stop playing. I mean right now. Just horrible...

see your right

but a matchup against the clips in any round negates homecourt and they also have ARGUABLY 2 top 5's + a deeper team with more reliable role players. Many factors to consider against the clips specifically....its inevitable we will have to go through the clippers to get 17 this year

Im confident as is against the Bucks and Celts if we get there.

Paul George is not a Top 5 player, please sir.

And facing the Clips would be great. Zero travel for two weeks. Think about that for Bron/AD.

And the big(gest) key, more minutes for Bron/AD both, so depth gets less of an issue. This happens every playoffs.

2nd biggest, Bron will hopefully get some damn calls, he isn't getting whistles for ****. In the playoffs, when stars get calls..... 🙏

I agree

that's why i made sure to type ARGUABLY in caps. He's def say to 7-8 though so, regardless, he's really really good too.

I think it would be the best thing to happen to basketball for a while honestly.

It would be that much sweeter the beat the clips and earn this one, on top of the tragedy etc.

The media been perpetuating this thing since the summer, and they are going to get it.

How bittersweet would it be to pick up harkless and use him to advance against the team that traded him away? :nerd:

somebody gotta hit my man on the DM

told y’all he never gets calls lol

also 14-10 isn’t terrible against .500+ teams. Could be worse lol
But I understand that prob like 5-6 of those were choked
but it’s hard to be like .700 against those teams tbh

Dwight had two tip ins from free throws haha
Love when the team owns the paint.
Rondo played smarter and Dwight played efficient.
Team needs another knock down shooter - too streaky (KCP been money though), felt like Carter on the Suns wasn't missing but only hit 3 threes.

Over the last 7 games, Avery Bradley has been shooting .618 from behind the 3-point line on 4.9 3-point attempts per game.
He was shooting .263 on 2.6 3-point attempts before that.

Don’t get your hopes too high. This is a team still looking in from outside for a title. We are ahead of schedule anyways. This wasn’t suppose to be our year anyways. I mean we are 50+ games in and still have a hard time figuring out our point guard rotation.

it’s gonna be painful when Vogel and/or rondo gives away a game or two in a close playoff series.
