7 seed plays 8, winner gets 7th place.
9 plays 10, winner plays the loser of 7 vs 8 for the 8th seed.
So the Lakers would have to lose two straight to GS, Mem and maybe SA or NO. If they can’t get one win against those teams shut it down they deserve to go home.
