**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Lebron slimming down this season. With that and other factors, I think we’re gonna see shooter Bron more.

It only took like 6 years or so but the Lakers finally have the correct Hollywood Russell on the roster and his name is Westbrook not D'Angelo.

Btw, is DLo still in the league? Never forget him shaqtin' the in bounds pass from Julius all the way out of bounds LOL

Wonder how things would've changed if D'Lo took the offer to return to LA in 2019.

When free agency first started I was super excited about the prospect of having Dlo with LeBron and AD but him going to Golden State was the best possible thing for us. A roster would have been the big three of LeBron, AD and D'Angelo Russell with league minimum guys surrounding them. No way we win in 2020 with Russell on the roster. Not to mention Russell is one of the worst offenders in the league (This is before you even talk about his injury issues.)

He's a fake all-star who got a max deal off of having one good season in Brooklyn and only made the All-Star team as an alternate. Glad we don't have him on the books for the next 2-3 years

The more matured DLo would've benefited leaps n bounds playing with Bron. Imagine Bron, AD, and a healthy, matured 20 ppg DLo, he would've been the outside shooting threat on a championship squad a la Glen Rice.

But was he worth the money? Heck no, not in a million years

The offer was below the max (four years-$80M) per the report. Probably would've been at the expense of Danny Green, and maybe Cousins or Bradley.

them dudes in the ventilation ducts ?
**** I’d do the same as college student

now that I’m older, I’m less mesmerized by nba players since a) a lot of them are younger than me and b) most aren’t that bright and think having tons of money makes them better than me. Which I know is garbage. I know janitors who are more influential to me.
Seriously imagine being mesmerized by Tyler Herro lol or Kuzma
