Vogel needs to realize that there are times we must use AD like Duncan and other times we can use him like KG or prime Shawn Kemp depending on who or what the opposition is giving us.

Why not? How were we able to do it with Pau and Bynum/Odom? Or how did Bos do it with KG and Perkins/PJ?

All DJ gotta do is get out the paint when AD on the pinch post, soon as DJ's man comes off him to double AD, DJ should then set an off ball pick for one of his shooters - whether its Melo or Monk or Austin or Wayne's man to get them open for a three. Problem is we have poor spacing half the time and look lost off the ball LOL.

This offense has zero off ball movement skills that's why it isn't working. Having a thinking man's DJ in the game is supposed to work, why do you think they signed him aside from catching lobs, altering and blocking shots, and grabbing boards? But DJ ain't executing. Either that or the coaching staff dont know how to use him on offense.

Biggest problem is Lakers prefer an outside-in offense as opposed to the other way around. If that's the case, get rid of DJ and go find a way to get Jerami Grant or Rob Covington.

You aint convincing me that he is such this bad fit that he deserves zero playing time or doesn't deserve to start. The Lakers system on offense currently ain't fitting the type of players they have.

He may not finish games, but he definitely has a role on this team. He just ain't fully realized it yet.

For sure, he needed a change of scenery. But looking what's doing now, he'd be the complimentary forward to AD and Bron. But alas...

maybe we should just treat Russ like a role player. Drop your expectations significantly. We have 1 of our big two out. Of course we aren’t dominant. Once lebron comes back it will be better and Russ can drop back down into his slot as the 4-6th best player.
