I hate narratives, best thing to do is put yourself in a persons shoes and think about what you would in that scenario.
So if I was Lebron in year 19, with a finite number of games left in your NBA career….2 or 3 more seasons IDK but that’s it. Winning or losing don’t matter, if you’re a hooper you want to hoop. I’m suiting up and balling as long as I’m healthy enough to go, shut it down for what? Don’t have much longer doing this anyway

Could also be that I’m old school but I also think the ambassadors of the league have a responsibility to actually play in games. Pretty wack to me that fans have to worry if they buy tickets to games if they’re fav player or whatnot is even going to show up

The whole going back to the summer and crying about DDR is neither fun or accurate. We had:

Most of us wanted the buddy Hield deal bc it was essentially a kuzma for Hield swap. It allowed you to keep all those other assets/good defensive players. You may even throw shroeder into that.
Unless you were getting Dame, None of us were that excited to get one player that would force you to then lose everybody else except for one of THT or Caruso. Also none of us could have predicted in 1 million years that Demar was going to be this good. And is he really “this good?” aren’t they like sixth place now? Plus he’s 1a for them. Here he would be 3rd star, standing in corner with pressure of world on him. I don’t know…who cares.
Now if you want to play a real what if game. One that is actually fun, think back to when Paul George chose OKC versus joining LeBron. In that what if scenario, we probably win the title with Davis George and LeBron. While still having kuzma KCP AC THT 22nd pick
