**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Yeah and he had less serious foot injuries back then right? I dont remember him being out for extended periods dur to ankle and foor imjuries three years in a row in New Orleans.

Plus He's older and more fragile now because of wear n tear over the years so THE MORE he should go back to the highs IMO

He was injured in NO too. His body is just made of glass.

Shoes have nothing with him not being able to land or falling all the time like a baby gazelle.

Should Kobe have went to a high after his Achilles injury as well? Some guys just can’t avoid injuries. It’s not the shoes that cause it.

Kobe is different from AD. He ain't as brittle in his lower body. Most importantly Kobe has a PAIN THRESHOLD that is unmatched.

Can't compare them, everybody's body is different

Yea but shoes aren’t. That’s my point.
Which is why AD needs the right kind of shoes that are custom made to provide support and stability as AD'S legs and feet get older and have more wear n tear.

My guy AD pulling Lebron 20s straight from the shelves at Footlocker instead of investing his hard earned money on the best foot expert in the world and have thr expert recommend what's needed or perhaps even redesign the type of shoes that would be good for his ailments so AD can continue to thrive through injury and be available for 90% of the season. But it look like AD ain't thinking outside box like Kobe.

When Kobe kept having knee issues as he got older, what did he do? Go to Germany and sought out the best in the world to fix his knee. That's why Kobe was able to stay healthy and durable enough to withstand the rigors of the season as he aged and could still put up 60 points in his 20th season.

LeBron has had knick knack injuries all throughout his career. But how is he able to stay this durable 20 years in? He takes care of his body and invests in it.

AD need to step up his game cause there's levels to this if hewanna strive for ultimate greatness, his injuries notwithstanding. It's not like AD has ever had an Achilles or ACL injury

These dudes get their ankles taped too.

Nothing can stop that roll he had landing on Gobert’s foot

Was just looking at that.

I'll say this. I think the 3rd star route ain't happening, nor is it the best course of action generally, but if Zach Lavine becomes available, I'm throwing in Russ and both picks and whatever else needed in a heartbeat. Knee injuries be damned.

Him and Caruso are a near perfect salary match with Russ. Hell, Russ, both picks, their own 2023 2nd back and maybe a swap. Young player with upside? **** take Christie. You're gonna have to pay him after next season anyway. Need to offload more salary? Add who you want. I'm going all in on that one.

Highly doubt it considering rumors started circling so now CHI front office would probably rather trade him in division than to send him to the Lakers. Reinsdorf notably does not want to "help the Lakers". It would only happen if Lavine says send me to LAL come Jan 15.

Lavine
Caruso

That's about as good as it gets IF they're healthy.

Nah, I'm good. His contract is ridiculous. Also, he's just in the first year and he's under contract until 2027. He's in no position to try to force his way out of Chicago.

Isn’t Levine hurt a lot too?

If Rob actually entertains this, pretty sure he’d wanna add Levine to Lebron and AD, not trade AD for him

Lavine does nothing for this team as far as making it a contender goes.

Also has it not been like scientifically proven high tops don’t make a difference with ankle support?
