**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

bucks sold but you gotta tip your cap to curry. Hopefully their road struggles continues.

We’ll have to settle for the 3 way tie for the 7th seed after the win tomorrow.

Saturday’s Rooting Interests:
Knicks over Clippers in LA ❌
Hornets over Jazz in Charlotte ❌
Grizzles over Mavs in Memphis ✅
Bucks over Warriors in GS ❌
Thunder over Pelicans in NO ✅
Kings over Suns in PHX ✅

Not sure if the emojis popped up by 3-3 in rooting interests on Saturday.

Kyrie is inifinty times better than Brick. But that top heavy experiment ahouldve taught Bron something. That **** aint sustainable.

Also if Luka/Kyrie don’t work. Him paired with a top 10 player.
Trying to pair him with LeBron and AD will be worse.

Mavs don’t even really have a bad supporting cast either. Probably missing a guy or two, but it’s not the worst supporting cast either. 3-8 since 2/11/23

Sunday’s rooting interests:
-Lakers over the Knicks in LA. NYK on a B2B. No Brunson most likely.
-Spurs over Thunder in SA. Thunder on a B2B.
-Blazers over Pelicans in NO. Pelicans on a B2B.

Contain Quickly and RJ.

Don't lose the hustle battle with Josh and do your best to get in Julius Randle's head. Get him to commit mistakes.

I hope Ham better have something better than taking AD out when it comes to dealing with the double team. AD needs to see the double team sooner and make quicker decisions. The longer he holds the ball, the more the defense can load up and squeeze them

I'm convinced that when Rob was on the phone with Ainge during the trade negotiations, Kobe took part in the conference calls and got in Danny's head. No way Pelinka and esp Rambis could've done it on their own

Trade for Ainge was about sticking it to the Timberwolves as much as possible.
Timberwolves were dumb enough to go back to Ainge for round 2, thinking that they needed to double and triple down on the Gobert trade.

From there, it just fell in Rob’s lap.
