It sounded to me like he was just trying to entice a center to take the vet Min spot

I think that's exactly what he was suggesting.Pretty sure Rob only said they want a center to play next to AD and some folks ran with the starting lineup narrative.
I don’t think that’s what he was suggesting at all
I think that's exactly what he was suggesting.
And why I think is also the reason Rob has said they are actively looking for a center for that 14th roster spot. Because Hayes will start, and the new center they're going to add will be the backup center, and the plan is to move AD back to PF where he belongs.
Vando odd man out cause Rui gonna get ALL the backup PF minutes behind AD.
If AD started at center again ntm closed at center, then there's no reason to carry 2 backup centers like they did last playoffs which clearly wasn't near good enough to win it all.
Since it's been broken the last three dam years, Fix It.
or dwight howardHW....
Of course you would think thatI think that's exactly what he was suggesting.

I posted something similar last week and was met with some denial about that these types of conversations haven’t been taking place. I believe that IF HEALTHY this team will have just as good of a chance as any other contender. Vando is cool, but the deeper the run in postseason the fewer the minutes you can see on court if you’re a specialist. Hopefully he’s in the gym this summer… funny thing I met his family in Vegas, and his pops I believe told me he was LOCKED in this off-season. Of course I automatically assumed that normally he must be bs’ing around for his pops to say thatI hate that all of a sudden we are treating Vando like he is just expendable. Like he wasn’t a primary reason we made the playoffs.
I know Lakers players prob hate Lakers fans. We can be fickle. I swear every time DLo made a shot he proudly pointed to the Lakers logo on his jersey. He has a bad series or 2 and the pitch forks are out. No loyalty, no possibility for him to bounce back next year. I really hope she kills in the playoffs to shut everyone up
Yea I just think we as fans need to do a better job of lifting our players up and giving them room to fail and get better instead of just turning on them and shipping them off.I posted something similar last week and was met with some denial about that these types of conversations haven’t been taking place. For once I agree with one of your comments.. Yes, the run to the conf Finals was definitely fool's gold. Which is why LA trying to add a center or two to play next to AD.It is interesting though. This playoff run could have been fools gold. We matched up well with Memphis since they had no bigs.
Same with GS.
We face a team with a great big and lost 4 straight.
Nah you have to be successful a specific way or it doesn’t count basicallyHow far you make it in the playoffs is circumstantial. And that’s perfectly normal. Giannis won his ring where it seemed like every star or superstar during that playoff run was getting hurt. Doesn’t take away from how well his team played.
