If Gabe is there to play end of game situations for defense. I know he's Kevin Durant, so it's moot.

But if that's the case, and their game plan is to run a screen to get Gabe switched onto KD, midas whale just let DLo play to be roasted like a chestnut. At least it comes with a potential 3 or the ball moves better on offense.

(Same point as if it was Gabe or Max in for AR, or if Vando was in for Rui).

Lakers front office bet big on Christies' potential, he’s still a project though.. I complained about Rui's rebounding a lot last year, seems he's making a big effort there and being put in positions to rebound now. Nearly the same roster as last year, but team is better, with better coaching.

Main differences: AD is #1 option. They go to AD early and often and build offense around him. AR is getting heavier workload offensively with DLo/Bron taking less. Rui/AR getting boost in minutes/role. This team looks better than last year.

Not sure if father time is finally catching up with Bron, but I'm seeing some chinks in the armor

I'm willing to bet Vando has some sort of Orthopedic issue we don't know about.

Knew he was cooked when I saw him out walking like the Penguin.

Rui and Austin off to good starts.

Seems like Austin has taken the reigns of #3 from Dlo so far....Dlo seems more content to play off the ball and catch and shoot.

Not sure if this is by design or how things are naturally unfolding.

But I like the ball in Austins hands more than D'lo so far.

Depends on the matchup but broadly speaking probably not.

JJ should probably just stagger Lebron, AD and Reaves minutes a little more creatively IF Vanderbilt comes back .

To make the salary match you’d combine Kessler with like Colin sexton. Would be a come up for the lakers. I’m a fan of sexton.

Package like DLO/JHS/Hayes + picks for Kessler and sexton

Or same combo for cam Johnson & DFS (like this one less than the Utah package)

Or I guess you could also do that same package for Grant (I wouldn’t be for this package)

It’d be Max and Knecht + a pick for Kessler and some salary attachment.

DFS or Cam creates a huge hole. And Grant isn’t worth all the attachments to get to his deal.

DLo will be a Laker in the 2025-26 season too. So shrugs.
