**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

I'm not down on Rui like some of ya'll. I'm not against trading him but I don't want to trade him for a DFS or somebody who isn't gonna make us better. The deal should be worth it if we're going to part ways.
And trading Rui and seconds for DFS seems like a backwards *** move for me, even though the fit is there. He's like five years younger than DFS. Could totally see DFS slipping by next season.

We don't have a long term strategy. We're just going with the flow as Bron strings us along with it.

I'm ready for the "rebuild/restructure". Come here C CP1708

There isn’t a reason to. Or a person to do it for (that’s available).
D lo has been in the league for like ten years now bro

We know for a fact he's gonna **** the bed if we make the playoffs. It makes absolutely no sense to keep him on the team.

It's actually to our detriment as his value continue to lower. His peak was in Brooklyn.

Bro ain’t no way DLo is a Laker after the deadline.

You don’t constantly put out trade rumors for 2-3 years straight and then decide you still want to keep him.

Russell, his blonde hair, and his expiring contract are all out. This season. It’s only a matter of time

Lmao thank you for letting me know that I’m not the only one who sees this Bu-ha’s bu-sheeet…

Hmm let me see Rui is the long term piece over Russell (expiring deal), Gabe (has stunk up the joint) and Vando (played same number of games as Laker legend Andre Ingram, jk).

It’s mostly his opinions, common sense, or just anonymous source nonsense like these doozies

I really can’t stand this clown covering the Lakers

Bruce Brown was close to signing until Indy came down and threw that balloon contract at him.

Don't think they had a chance at Lowry though.

Found their kryptonite.

Better deal than anything Lakers can offer honestly. Can get 3 firsts from Denver for Denver to get out of MPJ's deal. Lakers won’t trade both because they need to save one for the subsequent moves. Nuggets would get better in their trade as it disperses the minutes amongst more guys. And Lakers may not even be better off if they were to combine salaries for DFS and Cam without 2-3 other moves

I’ll buy that he was considering the Lakers… as far as how close that was to actually happening…

I’d buy it more if there were quotes from an interview w/ Buss or Pelinka, maybe even Brown himself.

Every time I see the Raptors Bruce Brown in street clothes, has he played a game this season?
