**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Yeah but it was a lot of Nets fans there tho. Mostly 76ers and Nets fans. Sprinkled with knicks fans. I saw that cause I was there and saw it and stayed the whole event.

Damn even worse.... so he's not even liked by just Nets, but by Knicks and 6ers fans too? :lol

all this Paul George to Cleveland talk has me a little worried. If he goes to Cleveland, they make the Finals (or worse yet win the title) AND they can offer him more money than us, I don't see him leaving that situation. I'm less worried about him going to any other team. The I take back what I said about the Dlo trade, after thinking about it, that was a bad trade primarily due to timing. If we end up not getting PG this off-season or next-offseason and we strike out during free agency next year, then we pretty much gave Dlo away for nothing. :{ This is the classic 'win now' move that eventually got Mitch and Jim fired.

Nah.... Lakers got rid of Mosgov's contract. Huge win regardless!

Dude was injured all last season, only played like half the season. Not like Lakers will be missing him.

And D'Lol? Well he's being replaced by a better & more ATHLETIC player ;)

So if nothing happens, Lakers would be in the same exact situation as last season.. with MORE MONEY!

I expect Deng to get shipped out next.

Moz was not injured

they decided to go with a rotation of black/zu

the team is worse right now than it was going into last year.

the team currently has 6 players that are rookies or going into their second seasons

More money, and more youngins

We've been tryna tell ppl this for days yet they still echo the same sentiments. Magic possibly killed four birds with one stone yet dudes still sulking cuz we lost one (out of the four) dude who could've been something.

That's cause he was still here genius. I haven't said a word since he got traded. Just try it.

Gotcha. Can't talk about players not on the team in the Lakers thread even if the transaction that caused it was consummated by the Lakers. Makes sense.

Y'all aren't talking about the trade this is going on a week long eulogy of a player who I guess from the hoopla was a top 5 player in our franchise history. I don't even remember Lou Will getting this type of treatment when he was the best player on the roster at the time he got traded.

That was the convo. Talk about the trade.
