**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Damn, AD must have got

Mainly because HAM was toiling with the lineups up until the all star break and guys were frustrated of their revolving/lack of role.

AR and D'Lo (our best guards) were both BENCHED only to bring them back to the starting lineup?

What kinda **** is that?

RUI been in an out, had DNP's but he's easily one of the best players on the roster...how you think he feels?

HAM just not great a building a COHESIVE CULTURE

I feel like that was Franks thing, focusing on morale/team building rather than X's and O's

You can tell too in 2020 them boys was having FUN
Honest and reliable take!

Ham one of the worst Laker coaches ever . Real Byron-esque. Hella frustrating the way he was leaning on Prince and Cam half the season. People will stick to their guns and repeat the same takes but he clearly held the team back. Ham even said in the beginning of the year that Prince was only starting because Vando was hurt, saw Rui dominate his role in the playoffs and still took all season to start him. When he finally started him in Jan/Feb he said that would be the permanent starting lineup then Rui got hurt and it took Ham another month to start him again

People are so stuck in 1-way thinking.
- 'This ONE THING is the problem!'
- 'Solving that one thing wouldn't solve everything.'
- 'Stay in denial. Keep pretending the 1 thing I insist you acknowledge isn't a problem. '

2 things can be true.
2 things are true.

There’s gotta be at least 5 games in.

-Drafting a project and not a more NBA ready prospect. Or not trading the pick for a role player. A Roster spot that they could have used to have even a small impact on would have been nice.
-Vando’s injuries
-Gabe’s injuries and then being awful whenever he’s played.
-Not figuring out what they wanted to do at the backup Center spot.
-Benching AR for Cam
-Benching Rui for TP
-Benching DLo and leaving AR on the bench too when Ham said he moved AR to separate him and DLo
-Benching Max for Cam and then Gabe when Max is a pretty prototypical player for the role they need. And a ton of reps would have come in handy by March/April
-Relying on TP to be almost entirely what he’s not.
-That horrific December starting lineup where everyone knew it sucked. And Ham went with it for multiple games.
-The players (all of them) collectively being **** after the IST for about a month one way or another
-Not having a solution for Sabonis (there isn’t a true solution for Jokic, but there should be for Sabonis).
-AD’s eyes.
-Wood’s injury.
-Not being real about the bench for the trade deadline. Whether it was getting a backup Big or a wing.

And that’s before you get to specific individual games from DLo, AR, Bron & AD.

15 items.
6 of them fall squarely on HiP Ham.
"It's all Coach!" relies on math that ain't mathin'.

They can fire Darvin Ham and he’ll likely be the fall guy since that’s the nature of the game.

But ever since Phil left in 2011 they’ve had 6 different head coaches. None of them have lasted more than 3 seasons. Even if/when they fire Ham, the odds are they’ll be right back in this same position looking for a new head coach in 2-3 years tops.

Can’t wait til this season is over and they get a new head coach so people can wake up and see what the real problem was.

And yeah, Jaxson Hayes will be on the roster next year and so will Rui and Vando and probably AR too

And watch how much better they will be next season with a new head coach and essentially the same core next year.

Just watch. We’ll see what the real cause of the Lakers’ problems was

But I’m sure all the smart guys will continue with their smart takes

Let’s take a look at Darvin’s coaching EXPERTISE shall we

This dude can’t even get his own players to FOCUS and EXECUTE like PROFESSIONALS do in real life because HAM CANNOT COACH!!!!

Dude does not have the brain, the savvy, and the basketball mind to analyze film and coach his guys to make the proper adjustments. Period.

#Coaching

Aaaaah, so if you say that ONE THING is the problem and someone agrees that that one thing is a problem but also ACKNOWLEDGES that there are also other problems, you're doing the thing where you interpret that as them saying that the one thing you say is a problem is NOT a problem at all.

It's not that the guy you posted is full of it: it's that you are.

I'm tempted to come up with a bet that will show it to everyone else (I can't say "That will show it to you", because I can already tell that you're a 'Never lost' type who never 'accepts' error.) Needs to be a bet free from all qualifiers, because I know how you rock.
