To me, he's Bynum, but better. More fluid, hopefully less leg issues.

Raw, athletic, but high high ceiling. Which is what Bynum was at 17 when he was unknown. A lighter, faster Hibbert could be used too (shorter by an inch or two also)

What will depend is motor, care, and work ethic. Bynum had it at times, but also got bored real easy. Wouldn't even listen to Kareem longer than a year or so. Which is just stupid.

^Plus he just started playing ball in 2011 and look at his progress. Really hope he got that work ethic to strive for greatness.

Man, I just can't find the joy in this.

Spare me the details of the process and the logic behind tanking and the benefits of finishing bad as opposed to finishing middle ground.

I know.

Trust me; I know.

Just... the Bucks, man? And B.Jennings goes for 37?

No part of me likes the way that tastes.

If the whole process ends up favorably for us and we're sitting here next January 1 w/ one of these top prospects under our belt and it looks like he really will be the real deal, then yes, at THAT moment, I'll feel better about THIS moment.

But this isn't that moment.

This is this moment.

And this sucks.

Bucks.

BUCKS?!

And we've lost like, what, like 94 games in a row now? Something like that? Like 138 or so?

Feels Batman.

How the heck did we beat the Clippers on opening night? And the Rockets?

Meanwhile, across the hall...

Fitting that one of my all time favorite songs is on, "Remember Everything."

Hope Mitch sings that chorus in his head to Stern every single day.

'Basketball Reasons'

Make 'em pay, Mitchell.

Trust me Ska... I feel you on that. :smh:

It wasn't even Jennings tho bro, it was Brandon Knight..

Brandon freakinf Knight torched us :x

I know It doesn't change your point, but it certainly helps validate your frustration even more.

Pathetic :smh:

Look at it this way man, it ain't really us.

Kobe
Nash
Blake
Wes
Kaman

Not even dressed. Lost Farmar after the game (maybe)

We're playin full time bench guys 40+ minutes these days. Guys on 1 year deals. Guys off the street a week ago now getting major minutes at PG.

It's bleak today, but it will get rebuilt, the right way. Hopefully starting with some youth.

That's right, Jennings is in the D, right?

Freaking Brandon Knight.

Get allll the way outta here.

It does change my point, by making it worse.

Lebron's career highlight is 2 rings and FMVPs.

Kobe's career highlight, so many.

This dude just had his career highlight last night, ending the year putting up 37 on the Lakers.

I feel like kicking Mitch's door down.

"Do something!"

You guys survived Kwame Brown, Smush Parker and Luke Walton as a starting lineup

This is a picnic compared to that ********.

That's a legit starting 5, man.

Not even stretching anything. Kobe can play the 3, easy. Frontcourt of Blake/Nash.

That's a legit starting 5, w/ a high energy guy off the bench.

That's 6 guys we COULD use as 'main minutes' against EVERY team in the league and be competitive.

In street clothes.

****

after last nights game i checked brandon knights previous career high and was a little surprised when it wasnt vs us

this year is like last year

except rather than having 4-5 future HOFers on the team taking turns being hurt

we have 7-8 players on 1 year minimum contracts taking turns getting hurt

I'm turning in my fan card.
Effective immediately.
This is embarrassing.
I have transferred my loyalties to King James and the world champion Miami Heat.

Feels good to know the feeling of winning again :pimp:

kind of wished he would have said something like

"lakers are not going to get a top 3 pick anyways"

what do you mean you guys? You aren't one of us?

"You people? What'ya mean... 'you people'?"

Because I'm not suffering now. I embraced this months ago, I tried to bring y'all along, but....

I'm sayin, after what we went thru in 05-07, this isn't nothin to me. I actually like a lot of the pieces we have to play with here, back then? I wanted to swallow a musket.

And we're not getting a top 10 pick fallaz.

You really this blind, or this just a reverse jinx, hopin for the #2 pick type angle?

Cuz if it's the jinx, I'll help in any way I can.

If you truly believe that, I need to update my ignore files.

Let me know.

I'm starting to feel worse about now, for real.

Back then, I mean, Smush would have his moments, drain a few 3s in a row off Kobe dimes, Kobe hitting game winners against the Suns, S.Breezy touching the sky, Kwame... ummm... ... ... Kwame... ...

... ... I mean, I'm sure he did something good at some point and I just can't recall right now.

But right now? Bro, there is NOTHING to look forward to.

A fancy Nash pass between the defender's legs? Not happening.

Baseline Kobe fadeaways? Negative.

Pau being a male? Nope.

Bro, we scored 12 points in the first quarter.

One point... each minute.

Uno.

Hand me that musket, champ.

in 06-07 we had prime kobe and phil da god

that was a very solid foundation to build a team on

Damn, I forgot to mention X not playin last night either.

Hey, tell me you haven't enjoyed watchin Hill, X, Farmar, Wes, Young, and Meeks all out there runnin wild. That group >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the 05-07 group.

And uh, Shannon wasn't a part of that 05-06-07 stuff. He ain't come to LA til 08, when we had Pau and Ariza in house.

I'm at work today, and on the way in, Sport talk radio I listen to played a clip of a Damian Lillard interview with ESPN radio (of course they play anything Blazers say nationally) and they asked Lillard, was there any player(s) that he was in awe of playing against as a young guy, someone he watched growin up?

Lillard said first name out his mouth, Kobe.

They were in a tight game, and it was late, and Kobe was goin to the foul line, and Lillard strolled up and said it'll be alright if you miss one of these......

Said Kobe ain't eem look at him, say nothin, not even blink.

Made both free throws, Timeout Portland.

Comin out of the timeout, back on the court, Kobe walks past Lillard and says simply

"This ain't my first rodeo Rook"

:pimp:

Only thing that would have made that story cooler would be if Kobe just walked past him and hissed. That **** woulda had me swervin on the highway.
