Man, **** that. Dudes straight up ran their mouths at me all God damn preseason long about how "arrogant" I was, how "stupid" I was, turn in fan cards, all that ********, because I had the ability to look ahead a lil bit.
Now I'm supposed to just "be cool" when they have egg all in their face? Those same bodies now pullin thru PISSED that our coach can't do this, we should do that, why can't we win with 75% of our roster injured, we should, they should, why can't, who can't.............**** all that.

I've seriously blocked like 11 Laker fans already because of their crying and ridiculous claims. They don't like it, BLOCK ME. Cool by me. I've pretty much weeded out all the trolls and morons that sit and wax poetic about Carmelo Anthony, and coaching adjustments ( that were the exact same complaints about Phil freaking Jackson, to be read as they don't know, so they rehash the same whining they did in 2011 to explain losses) and now I can skim thru this thread in record time.
But just sit on my hands and not jab them reminders? Naw, I'll pass. Them subtles shall flow. Arrogant here now. Before I was tryin to level with folks, they ain't wanna listen or hear it. Well, now I'm just bein what they want me to be. "arrogant"

Adjust to it you bunch of D'Antoni's. Box and 1, zone defense, stop switching, miracle cure your broken rosters, do SOMETHING to adjust to the posting styles.

Dudes talk about basketball in this thread all day and know absolutely nothing about basketball 
Idk if y'all use to playing with video game ratings or what but that's not how team defense works. Teams get better defensively through practicing and buying into defense. Help defense, rotations, hedges, boxing out, traps, ect all that stuff is taught and emphasized when practiced. Defense becomes a reflex.
Perfect example, the Spurs. They've never had the most gifted athletes but defensively are always a solid team b/c they rely on the gameplan. This lakers team is full of guys that hustle, listen, play hard, that wanna stay with the Lakers and wanna get better while doing so.
Looking at the roster and saying "Oh none of these guys have ever made a All Defensive team so the team defense will never be good" is stupid.
More importantly the team is too tired and worn down TO EVEN TRY TO DEFEND.... U got guys playing 40mins a game 3 to 4 days out the week at a break neck speed offensively how U expect guys to run back on defense, dig down defensively and get stops?

I'd rather team be competitive and lose vs losing by 60 b/c u only got 6 players in jerseys. I'm expecting the worse with Pau's foot, so that only drops the team down to what 7 active players but also kills off any chance of trading Pau.

With a quality coach and our issues this year, we just get hammered.

Never thought the words 'better' and 'improve' would be such difficult concepts.
Saying that a homeless guy could improve his situation is NOT saying that I expect him to be Bill Gates in a week. "Give him a break. You expect him to be a world-reknowned CEO? Clown." No, but he could... IMPROVE.
Saying Bill Gates could improve is NOT saying he is a failure. "Riiiight, Bill ******* Gates needs to improve. Sure thing, champ." Not saying he 'needs' to, but yes, he could make IMPROVEments.
A person could always make things better.
This team certainly has a LOT of room for improvement, and a more quality coach would certainly make us a little less of a joke.

Really simple, if Eric Spoelestra lost Bron, Wade, Chalmers, Haslem, Anderson, Battier, and Norris Cole, we would still demand the rest of his stiffs defend and win in the NBA against superior teams.
By making "adjustments".

Given how awful the Lakers' year has gone, I think MDA has actually made it less of a joke than it could have been.
But I really don't think many people view it as a joke, outside of the unrealistic Lakers fans who expect to be in the Finals every year. We're more of a pity case.
