Leaked audio of Donald Sterling telling his girlfriend "Don't bring black people to my games"

@debs 168
bringing up a very valid point of view and I think most people who are pro civil rights / racial equality should be able to understand or be moved by, no matter what race you are.

I should add that my father has told me about his second grade teacher referring to him as ****** in class and really caring less if he was there or not. Could one blame him if he didnt continue to value education and work hard to make something of himself through an institution that allows such hatred? How do the institutional values of education and justice get passed on to younger generations when the systems were broken and abusive to most of our parents and grandparents?

The fact people want to bring black racism and reverse racism into threads about white racism is tantamount to justifying the latter or at least downplaying or rationalizing it and its really a slap in the face to folks with real experiences and hinderances with racism who are just trying to draw attention to the struggle, not compare offensive or stereotypical soundbites and argue semantics.

A white billionaire who is likely guilty of housing and employment discrimination over a number of decades is not the same as dave chappele making racist jokes or some loudmouth athlete spouting off. No one is trying to argue a poor racist is better than a rich racist, in a perfect world none of n it should be tolerated. I think everyone gets that.

A little acknowledgement that people like Sterling are affecting the progression of blacks and their quality of living on a microscopic level at least and that surely 20, 30, 40 years ago when a lot of our parents were trying to strive for success and provide for their new families theses types of view were more prevalent with macroscopic effects. We should be debating if income inequality and the racial gap in education and quality of life can be tied to the prevalence these attitudes now and in prior generations moreso than whether sterlings comments were more offensive than mayweathers for instance. Or more unacceptable, or more racist, or more wrong, or blah blah blah

Is V.Stiviano transgender?

I'm being serious.

Would be an interesting twist.

I was reading something unrelated and apparently some guys who seemed to have some knowledge of LA gang culture says she used to be a known hood prostitute that had been around a lot of hood cats and was really on her last leg when some godforsaken pimp took her ragged *** and sent her at this rich dude and they pretty much struck the jackpot pretty woman style. I wouldn't necessarily believe that but the pic with her and a young don magic got me wondering.

I cant believe this escort is doing a Barbara Walters interview. Sterling is right, shouldve just paid her off. Smh...

I thought you were white

It will be ignored by the people who want to bring up Jay-z's chain. Great post though.

These deflection tactics are just a new way for them to silence us, even though clearly things aren't yet where they need to be. Ignore and push on.

@ Dani Alves  eating the banana

Well played by him. Soccer fans are awful though.

The Italian fans that boo Balotelli bother me. Dude is one of the best scorers on your national team, because he's a different color, you want him miserable? Stupidity.

Some Italian and Spanish fans are just consumed by bitterness and hate. They hate people from their own country (Northern Italy vs Sicilians, Castillians vs Catalans and Basques, etc) so it's no surprise that they abuse black people and other foreigners as well. They play the best soccer but they really don't do enough to fight this racist nonsense.

Last week was a huge stride though, dude who threw the banana was turned in by other fans and is banned for life from the stadium. I only hear things like that happening in the UK, where racism is taken much more seriously, probably since black people and foreigners in general have been living there for many decades. Immigration is a relatively new thing for countries like Italy and Spain

Just saw shorty on "20/20" with the legendary Barbara Walters. She has funny cheek bones, looks like a he-she and Will Smith/Martin Lawrence ears but... I'd still smite.

Y'all really think she let Donald Sterling hit? I don't believe it, one bit. Well. Then again.. If she really think Donald isn't a racist that he musta' layed down the law on her heiny.

This girl is about to get paid for interviews and then sued in court by sterling for everything she's worth lol. What did they say about the illegal recording of the conversation?

They had fans outside in Villareal (sp?) protesting the ban. These dudes in Spain/Italy are something else

I saw  a couple clips from the interview with Barbara Walters, something about V.Stiviano pisses me off. Maybe its her stripper like one initial first name? Or maybe its that stupid pause she takes before making every point? Idk, but the way she talks annoys me
